I would like to recommend adding
*ender pearls to every gamemode (hardcore, Normal, Over Powered)
Its bugging me seeing people camping at their bases and its really frustrating to build complex bridges

*A time limit like 1 hour
after one hour all eggs get destroyed and all islands connect to prevent camping

*A new kit
The invisibility kit (lasts for 30 secs)
The risk is that u need to have no armor on to not be seen as well as not holding an item

*The original buffer kit to me is pointless
the 2 golden apple kit restores 2 hunger bars each + gives u regen for a bit + 2 bonus hearts

*Buffer kit alternative
it gives the player speed I for a limited time in a potion bottle

This following suggestion doesn't affect in game
Thank u Cubecraft for adding the 1.8 eggwars but i have one favor
to make a lobby for 1.8 so u can select maps
i know u want to make ranked player feel special but it isn't every convenient

A time limit would be nice, so as enderpearls in Normal (not in Hardcore, since it's supposed to be hard to get resources; the time limit should prevent camping).
If you think Buffer is useless, just don't buy it. I don't see that as an issue.

Just as on all game modes are ender Pearls. no body will longer buy a rank.

I personally like long matches and slowly destroying camper's defenses, so I wouldn't want a time limit on eggwars. I understand why you would want it though.
The invisibility kit would be too op since it would allow players to just follow a person behind them and break their egg. (I mean, I don't even have an invis pot and I just run in and break people's eggs; imagine how annoying it'll be to have an invisible player just randomly break your egg)
The last suggestion is something I like. 2god apples don't really do anything so I guess the speed pot as an alternative would be nice :3

Time limit : There wont be any draws you will easily be able to go to other islands and kill enemy teams, last team standing wins | maybe before each game there will be an option for ranked players to choose time limit or no time limit (if nobody votes no time limit)
Invis Kit : As i said there will be the risk of u having no armor on or a weapon to hold to be hidden (that is the price to pay) but also u can see particles (if u turn particles on) around the invis player so not that sneaky (10 secs since 30 secs is to much)
Buffer kit: personally i have never used this kit and i feel like it should be replaced with the speed pot thing (its just my opinion)
Ender Pearl every gamemode : i can understand that in hardcore it shouldn't be there but maybe make them in normal 128 diamonds each (the only reason i am adding this is for another way to prevent campers) | i can understand the fact that nobody buys a rank and cube craft needs money to run the server. maybe when a player votes the ender pearls become cheaper (EDIT: after a certain time ender pearls become available)

combining two pieces of armor to repair (using character inventory)
side note : before you were able to craft traps (i used to do that :p) by making pressure plates and iron trapdoors maybe not restricting it

Shields are supposed to break, they would be too overpowered if they would last even longer. Punch II isn't really needed, in my opinion. You can easily knock people off with the current punch I bow.
About the kit, it's useless, because you can easily grab iron and get a lot more than 16 blocks.

The random Op ideas was just to make Op special
Shield without enchant okay
Punch II come on its suppose to be op now u always have to carry a shield with you or u will be flying (like power I became Power III and Power V)
Healing arrows take your own risk using it ( tip use a normal bow to not inflict to much damage to yourself or send yourself flying)
Flame Bow would slowly damage your enemy (if your lucky they don't have low fire and cant see clearly)

Yes, most players don't need armor (unless they're camping or not too good) because you can just hit your enemy off the bridge. A kit means that you will have the invis pot from the beginning making players camp much more often then before from the fear of an enemy using their bridge. Some players also have trouble with lag or don't like the particles in their face, so they would turn their particles off in game. There is literally no risk in having no armor/weapon because of how easy it is to just drop a player off a bridge. Players would just always be invis and run to their enemy's egg from the beginning, making games less enjoyable.

In the eggwars games, if you've play a lot, most players would have tried to create items with their crafting ability, but they couldn't. This was due to the reason of players creating iron trapdoors and pressure plates which aren't a part of the items available in this game.

I don't like the invisibility kit idea. It seems a bit powerful considering you can't see them, which means you can't stop them if they're going to destroy someone's egg.

Nahhh.. It's good as it is! Maybe buff it up to 3 golden apples, but that's it!

I like what you said about adding a time limit, but I think that breaking all the eggs after a period of time is not fair, because if a team has been able to
protect their egg until the end, why does it have to be destroyed?!!! I prefer the idea of connecting all the islands and maybe removing punch bows to prevent camping :)

I had a team once add a huge tower of obsidian lucky the villagar was near the egg so there was a weak spot
Golden axe is the same as a wooden axe with damage and cool down

thats True, but you Will get a free weapon, every time, while your egg has not been destroyed
