This thread is why I think Cubecraft desperately needs a duels update and this thread will be providing suggestions on what is needed, and the benefit of them getting added
1. Classic Duel Gamemodes:
One of my, and I'm sure several others biggest problems with cubecraft duels is that it doesn't have the three main gamemodes which every single server with duels should have:- Nodebuff, Build Uhc and Sumo.
Nodebuff doesn't exist on the bedrock version which is weird, considering the Java Version of Cubecraft has it. Nodebuff is several peoples main duels gamemode and is one of the most Popular PvP Duels kit of all time. So it should definitely be added.
Build Uhc does exist on cubecraft being named "UHC" and "OP UHC" in the normal and overpowered section respectfully but its just not the same.
The amount of blocks you get in cubecrafts version of Build Uhc is really less, you only get one lava and water bucket, there are pretty less golden apples and golden heads don't exist, you get really few arrows and the worst part of it is that there aren't any fishing rods which is one of the most important tools in the classic Build Uhc kit. I think I know why it isn't implemented because when I tried crafting a fishing rod in Survival Games once, it was very buggy and glitchy. But Build Uhc isn't build uhc without everything I just mentioned
Sumo is definitely the easiest game to add to the server so its really confusing why it isn't added. Sumo is the most popular duel kit in almost all current practice servers so adding it to cubecraft would bring in a LOT of players.
I feel a good idea would be to add a separate NPC named classic duels where all three of these kits are implemented and to be able to play them without a rank. You can keep the current version of duels and ALSO make each choosing kits allowed without having to have a rank and ill share other really effective ways cubecraft can still make money out of the gamemode later on in this thread.
2. Making the Duels Maps Bigger:
The current maps for duels are all pretty small and compact which makes it hard to move around freely without bumping into the limit every ten seconds. Obviously what I'm suggesting is expanding the maps to make it less compact and easier to move around without hitting the corner every so often. However, I'm aware a lot of people may not agree with me on this one so tell me what you think in the replies.
3. Reducing the Build Height Limit:
Players skybasing and then knocking you off whenever you start building up is one of the most annoying things ever and almost the entire community hates it (other than the people who are doing it of course). So please reduce the build height limit, its already pretty low but its not low enough to prevent skybasers.
4. Weird Projectiles:
This is mainly for the skywars kits where you have snowballs. Snowballs in the skywars kits have a small delay everytime you fire at someone even when you're playing on you're region. Even with my ping being 40 - 60MS, there is always a small lag and delay when throwing snowballs. I've also seen a youtuber with the name Potatopie25 experience and recognize this issue. I know this is easier said than done but please try to fix it....
However, that's not the main problem with projectiles. The main problem with projectiles is the fact that it deals absolutely 0 Knockback and is really useless when trying to start combos. Its only slightly useful when running away but other than that it serves almost no purpose so please try and fix the knockback it deals.
5. Cosmetics:
This is a feature I'm sure a lot of people would love to be implemented to cubecraft duels. In the Cosmetics section there can be Kill Effects, Death Effects, Hit Particles, Custom Capes, Custom Wings or even Custom Headbands and etc. You can make all of these obtainable with the Duels Rank and the required VIP Experience to get them. There is absolutely no harm in implementing them and it makes buying a rank for Duels a lot more reasonable.
6. Replay Mod:
Yes, I know this feature would be really hard to implement successfully to cubecraft but if the Devs are able to implement it without issues, it would be a wild success. You can make it so that only people with the Duels Rank would be able to watch the replay which would again, make the Duels Rank a lot more reasonable to buy rather than to just pick out which kit and map you wanna fight on.
7. Play Again Option After a game is finished:
This is a very simple but useful feature to add. Everytime a match finishes, instead of automatically directing you back to the lobby, you can request rematch which is already there and you can also click on play again if you dont wanna rematch and just join a new game without redicrecting you back to the lobby. If the "Classic" duels does get implemented, then there can also be an option to view the opponents inventory after the match to see how close you were to winning / losing.
8. 4 v 4 and Mega Duels:
There can also be a queue for 4 V 4 duels and Mega duels for a specific kit which makes everything much more fun, Enjoyable, Chaotic and Unique since no current bedrock server has this feature. It would also be a nice way for a specific group of people to face off another group of people to see who's better!
9. Better Leaderboards:
At the moment, there is only a leaderboard for the amount of wins a person got. There should be a leaderboard for Kill Death Ratio or Even Win Loss ratio. It shows that the person has a lot of skill because the amount of wins a person gets only shows the amount of time that person grinds for.
10. Ranked Duels:
This would be an amazing additon to Duels and all the competitive duels players would be able to grind for ELO for these leaderboards. If this is implemented, then there could also be an ELO leaderboard for ranked.
Those were suggestions to make Duels a lot better and Enjoyable as at the moment, its really ordinary.
Note that this thread doesn't show any hate to cubecraft at all because I absolutely love cubecraft and I'm assuming you feel the same.
