It has been approximately 6 months following the release of the February SG update. Around late at night or early morning, the lobbies sometimes have a couple people. Of all the games in the 1.9 server, this is one of the least played games. This event aims to bring both new and old players back to the game, hopefully reviving this classic minigame. Instead of doing a list of challenges where the challenger completed one or two per run, this event integrates several challenges into one.

Anyone can join this event. To do so, either make a post within this topic, PM me on the forums, or PM my associate Bawoo Revision#9995 on Discord saying that you would like to participate. Since this event's purpose is to bring many people at once, I'd want this to be a focused push to bring more people in. The event will start from August 28th and will end on October 2nd. In order to partake in this event, you will try to complete all 6 challenges, each ranking higher in difficulty than the latter. You do not have to complete all 6 challenges; however, the more challenges you complete, the higher ranking you will receive. You may complete the challenges in any order if you joined late. All you require is a software such as fraps to record your gameplay. Gameplay must include in-game sound effects. You may share your commentary on gameplay if you would like; however, gameplay with no commentary is accepted as well. You may show gameplay of failed attempts at challenges; in fact, I encourage you to show all of your gameplay.
- Record all your gameplay from the start of the game to the end of the game. What's the point of participating if you do not share what you have? Your recording must begin before you are teleported from the game lobby into the arena. The beginning must show what variations were selected.
- Do not deviate from the challenge unless you have to. Only do so if you have encountered teamers or hackers. If you decide to confront these cheaters, you may temporarily deviate from challenge rules but the cheater(s) must be your next kill(s). Any items you obtained after committing to this and from the cheaters must be destroyed, no exceptions. You may then return to the challenge from where you left off. Losing to hackers/teamers does not count as a failed attempt.
- Do not use the same map for every challenge unless specified. Each map is played slightly differently. It would show what maps the game has to offer and some uncertainty.
- All server rules apply. This one is fairly simple to understand, right?
- All challenge tasks must be followed to the letter. You have to satisfy the restrictions, conditions and the objectives. When in doubt, ask me and I will clarify.
- Do not use outside help. These challenges test your skill in the game, not your friend's. It's unfair for those who do it legitimately alone. You shouldn't have a truce with or help from anyone during the game at any time unless you encounter a hacker.
- All games must have at least 10 players or 50% of the lobby filled, whichever is greater.

In addition to mods not on the "approved mods list," all mods listed below are categorically prohibited during the challenge.
- Damage Indicators
Reasoning: Allows you to see enemy health, giving you an advantage over your opponent. In real life, you wouldn't know your opponent's specific status and the same can be said here. - Minimaps
Reasoning: The real hunger games didn't allow you to bring anything, right? You must use your knowledge of the terrain, not from a map you smuggled into the arena.
Challenges
Leather - Level 1
Beginner's Luck
Complete a "solo SG game" with the following:
> Basic or normal items
> Normal or hardcore health
> Kits permitted
Details - You are allowed to use kits, just like regular CCG:SG, except those listed under “restraints.”
Objectives
- Use a TNT to damage an opponent while he/she is in the water.
Restraints
- You may not use the following kits: cannibal, vampire, double-edged, scout, man’s best friend, pyro, demolitionist
- You may not use lava and another pyro’s flint and steel (FnS).
- You may not combine FnS.
Conditions
- None
Win the game in order to complete this level challenge.
Complete a "solo SG game" with the following:
> Basic or normal items
> Normal or hardcore health
> Kits permitted

- Collect and possess a gold, stone, iron, and diamond sword.
Restraints
- You may not use an enchant table.
- You may not use a compass.
- You may not use the required items you have collected at any time.
- You may not take and use enchanted gear from chests.
- You may attack only in self-defense.
Conditions
- Gold, iron, and stone swords must not have any enchants.
- All required items must be in your inventory and undamaged.
Win the game in order to complete this level challenge.
Complete a "solo SG game" with the following:
> Basic or normal items
> Normal health
Details - You are not allowed to use kits, just like traditional SG.
Objectives

Bloodlust Bacca
Complete a "solo SG game" with the following:

Details - You are not allowed to use kits, just like traditional SG.
Objectives
- Obtain and wear a full set of leather.
- Craft your own diamond or iron axe.
- Cook a piece of meat from an animal.
Restraints
- You may not use a sword, FnS, TNT, additional healing potions, or enderpearls.
- Axes from chests and enemies “break” after killing an enemy. In other words, only your crafted axes do not break after 1 kill.
- You may not take off your armor at any time.
Conditions
- Timer
> When the grace period ends, you have 1 minute to get 1 kill. After each kill, you have 1 minute to move to the next.*
* Example: If you’ve killed your 1st player at 0:20 and kill a 2nd player at 1:00, then you have until 2:00 to score a 3rd player kill.

Details - Your party is not allowed to use kits, just like traditional SG. All of your party members must survive. Your party may not craft, enchant, or use the anvil everywhere. Your party may craft, enchant, and use the anvil only at the following locations:
> village
> church
Objectives
- Obtain and possess 2 diamonds, 1 for 1 teammate and the other for the 2nd teammate at all times.
- Hold a wedding at the church. See “conditions” for more information.
Restraints
- Your party may attack only in self-defense.
- Your party may not use a compass.

Objectives
- Obtain and possess 2 diamonds, 1 for 1 teammate and the other for the 2nd teammate at all times.
- Hold a wedding at the church. See “conditions” for more information.
Restraints
- Your party may attack only in self-defense.
- Your party may not use a compass.
- Your party may not use lava.
Conditions
- Before clicking on the map sign, create a party (team) while in the SG lobby by doing the following:
- Create a party with those doing the challenge. Maximum of 4 players.
- After adding all party members, type /p status to show your party members (your teammates).
- Enter any “fantasy” team SG map and have all party members join the room. If playing as a party of 2 or 3 and random players join your team, then the random players are considered not part of the challenge. You may not interact with them at any time as this counts as “outside help.”
- When the game teleports you to the map, show the player list (default: press TAB) to verify who is in your team.
- All party members must partake in this level challenge, but do not have to be registered for the event.
- Have you and your teammate stand in front of the stairs leading to the enchant table. If playing as a team of 3 or 4, have the other teammate(s) sit on the benches.
- Exchange diamonds and enchant 1 item to complete the wedding.
Win the game in order to complete this level challenge.
Diamond - Level 5
Graveyard of Tributes
Complete a "solo SG game" with the following:
> Basic or normal items
> Normal health
Details - You are not allowed to use kits, just like traditional SG.
Objectives
- Deliver a full set of unenchanted iron gear, an enchanted diamond sword, a bow, 20 arrows, 5 pieces of 3 different types of food each (total of 15 food), a healing potion, and an FnS to a dead body submerged in water.*
- Kill 10 players or 50% of the lobby, whichever is fewer.
HINT: Your opponents will often upgrade their gear as much as possible. If your diamond sword is not enchanted, find a way to enchant your sword without using an enchant table, chests, or the anvil.
Restraints
- You may not take your opponent’s equipped items with you. Any items he was wearing at the time of his death must be left behind.
- You may not utilize more than 18 item slots of your inventory.*
* Your entire inventory includes your 9 hotbar slots, 27 storage slots, off-hand, and 4 armor slots.
- You may not destroy items.
- You may not use the required items you have collected at any time.
- You may carry only 1 water bucket with you.
- You may not combine FnS.
- You may not use a compass.
- You may not take and use enchanted gear from chests.
- You may not use an enchant table.
Conditions

- You may not use an enchant table, anvil, or enchanted gear.
- You may not have more than 10 items in a stack.

> You have 5 minutes and 30 seconds to win the game.
Win the game in order to complete this level challenge.

- Do I need a forums account to enter? - You do not need a forums account to enter. If so, then you must PM my associate on Discord for him to forward your entry to me.
- What am I expected to do? - In order to complete a challenge run, you would need to follow all restriction requirements, complete all objectives, & adhere to the conditions.
- What happens if I die to hackers or teamers? - The attempt will not count as a failed attempt.
- How does the ranking work? - Every challenge run completed gives you an additional point, so one person can have at a maximum of 6 points. Ties for 1st place can exist.
- Can I register after the event has started? - Yes
- What do I get for completing the challenges? - Points & Pride
- Are mods allowed? - As long as it is in the official approved mods list, is not on the "list of banned mods," and does not severely change gameplay, it is acceptable.
- What Minecraft version should I be using? - 1.9+
- What are good recording programs? - OBS and fraps are good recording programs you can use.
- Can I use screenshots instead of video? - Sorry, video evidence is required. This is to ensure that the run satisfies the challenge.
