Cubecraft Update to 1.14 Part 2/4 Builds , Aesthetics)

Imagine minecraft maps with 1.12 gorgeous and vibrant colours brought by concrete , concrete powder and glazed terracotta , springing maps to life. The addition of Birch , Oak , Dark Oak , Spruce , Acacia and Jungle trapdoors would better fit specific builds.

Revamping a whole lot of maps using glazedterracotta concrete would be awesome followed by usage of bone blocks ; an example of such a map is the solo skywars map “Bones”. Similarly , the nether map could include Red Nether bricks , Nether Wart blocks and the popular Magma blocks.


Freebuild! This should definitely go 1.14. New Coral Reef blocks , Seaweed , and 1.12s colourful palette will (maybe) result in the death if those stupid skin contests ans make room for ACTUAL talent to be recognized? Why isnt freebuild in 1.12 yet?

Ohh the map UnderDaSea could be overhauled using coral reef - Coral comes in slabs and fullblocks and 5 colours have been
revealed for it. Replacing the current decor with those would be awesome , as well as adding more with Seaweed and Glazed Terracotta. Imagine a completely revamped 1.14. UnderDaSea.

The Trident would work well here . Through Plugins , we could make its boost enchant work too. Next maybe randomly , rare chance for “Mob B” to spawn? Its a stingray! Spawn it wothout the ability to interfere with players. They could spawn as an ambient mob alongside fish , also confirmed to ACTUALLY BE A MOB. You could remove their AI and/or give them NoGravity NBT so they stay at the same Y level.

The possibilities are endless. Ambient parrots could spawn on Jungle themed maps like Jungle in Eggwars and Skywars , flatlands at FFA and in Treehouse , the Eggwars map.

Speaking of FFA , change Savanna to evening / do DaylightCycle true.

Make a new lobby using these blocks. It would be totally awesome. Maybe the time of day should change based on your timezone?

Add Build Battle to Cubecraft alongside new rule since you’re an official partner:

“Inappropriate builds will result in a ban from Build Battle “ 1 week —> Permanant (no warning) .Buildbattle could go well in 1.14 (no need for 1.8 build battle , you know why.)

Maybe fish could be in the new hub? Or Fish Vanity?

I would like to say more about 1.14 block exclusive maps . Cubecraft has done it before guys. Kingdom (FFA) , End (Eggwars) and End (Skywars) all use 1.9+ blocks.

Btw , updating means you’ll have to discontinue support for 1.9,10,11, 12 and 13 when it does come.

This really shouldn't be an issue. Most servers support 1.9/1.10/1.11/1.12, so switching from cube to another server isn't an issue, and it probably wont be on 1.14.

I agree that cubecraft has full power to use beautiful blocks, but they just... aren't doing the full updates. When 1.13 and 1.14 comes out, I HOPE they update because it would be wonderful to see the cool new blocks. I also think the time based on the timezone thing would be really cool!
