DISCLAIMER: I do NOT support hacking and teaming on this server. This thread is based on my "Allow hacks on Mineplex" thread on that server. This thread has some sarcasm. This thread is not like my previous one in which I suggested a better system; rather, this will tell people to be patient. I respect the staff's decisions so far.

It's been about 3 weeks since this server went through a big change. When that change came, everyone with a ban/mute was given a clean slate. Given that more threats, teaming, and hacking have occurred lately, we can say that hacking and teaming will most likely be allowed in the future. I know you're all getting restless but give the staff some time. For now, let's start with the theory behind this.

Theory:
Let's first look at the server's history since it tells us a lot of what we need to learn. We need to look at what happened in the past and what's happening now. Here's what has happened so far:
-Cheaters were banned for 1 year, now banned for 1 week on first offense.
-Teamers were kicked, now banned for 24 hours.
-Appeals are guaranteed unban/unmute passes if the appeal is an apology.
-The current anti-cheat was considered good before any cheat detection was implemented.
-A new anticheat is in the works. Give the devs time to work on it instead of creating "too many hackers" threads.
-Reports take time, but you can tag staff to have them look at them.
-Almost every game has at least 1 hacker and/or an illegal team.
-Xturtle and other youtubers have made multiple hacking videos on this server. Though xturtle has stated that it's not to "ruin games," he's stated that he wants to help the server test the anticheat and raise awareness.
-From this, we can say that the hackers are probably on our side, not as cheaters but as "testers."

So, we have the background information down, let's look at the results and possible solutions.

The results:
-Most cheaters come for the reactions, not because of "easy wins." Join any game with a cheater and at least one legitimate player, if not 3+, will react. It's almost as much as if a youtuber were to join a game.
-People leave the game in frustration.
-Many innocent players get accused of hacking.
-Games will end with the illegal team, often stalling the game.
-Too many reports and too much work for our staff. The less work our fellow staff have to do, the better.
-As general advice, if a known hacker is in the game lobby, leave the lobby immediately, no questions asked.

The simple solution: allow hacking and teaming
We know that creating more rules means more players will leave. Also, not all players will be forced to follow them. To force them to, certain features will have to be implemented. For example, let's say there's a bug in a game but there's a rule stating that bugs can't be abused. Instead of this, the bug should be fixed first. We can say the same here when hacking and teaming are allowed for the following reasons:

-More fun for everyone. Who wants a better community where everyone is okay with each other?
-Teaming allows players to take on hackers a bit easier, more or less.
-In the event an illegal team forms, another team can take out the illegal team. However, in both against hackers or illegal teams, the 2nd team must disband.
-Fewer threads complaining about hackers and teamers.
-Fewer people will break the rules.
-Removing team mode eliminates the teaming rule. That's right, egg/sky wars and SG will have only 1 mode in which the last man wins.
-Less rage in-game. Who wants a game where no one is salty?
-Fewer reports needed. It takes a long time for a response and by then the cheater has already moved on. Plus, it's less work our fellow staff have to do, which is win-win for us, right?
-Make hacked clients on the "approved mods" list. Hey, we already have optifine, damage indicators, and a few others, so why not? We can have an 8th approved mod saying "all hacked clients are allowed."
-Anarchy servers allow hacking but with a catch. We can have a plugin that disables flight and weird movement such as noslow, bhop, and speed to make hacked clients on par with each other.
-No "unfair" advantages. We all want to play fairly, right?
-Autoattacking is a key feature in many MMORPGs. If Cube has passive abilities in sky wars similar to passives in MMORPGs, we can have a feature that automatically swings melee weapons every 3-6 seconds depending on the weapon type. Note that this is different from kill aura in which kill aura automatically attacks between cooldown and at fast speeds.
-Temporary solution until anticheat comes around. When that comes around, we can have an announcement prohibiting hacked clients again.

One day, we might get lucky and have staff allow hacking and teaming on this server. For now, we'll have to wait for staff to explicitly state that.

Bottom line: Give the staff time to work on the reports and anticheat. Stop creating more threads complaining about hackers.

So, now I ask all of you: when do you all think hacking and teaming will be allowed? Comment below and add reasons as to why we should or should not allow these.

What did I just read... If hacking would be allowed, it's about having the best hack client instead of skills...
I hope this is a joke... It better is...

Anyways...
I've read your thread and you're suggesting to make hacking allowed because hackers should be seen as testers of the anti-cheat and not as players that are violating our rules.

I can write a couple of paragraphs of why that's one of the worst things I've ever heard but I'm not really bothered to do such thing so I'll just answer it very simply:

No, hacking isn't allowed and will never be allowed as far as I'm informed same goes for teaming and cross-teaming.

TLDR;

-Cheaters were banned for 1 year, now banned for 1 week on first offense.

This is more of a warning instead.

-Appeals are guaranteed unban/unmute passes if the appeal is an "I'm sorry."

This is not guaranteed - will not go into details as it's confidential.

Almost every game has at least 1 hacker and/or an illegal team.

I would say out of 10 games I would encounter at least 1 hacker and 4 teamers. It depends on the game-mode though but it's not really different compared to when we had our previous punishment system.

The results - replies

-Too many reports and too much work for our staff. The less work our fellow staff have to do, the better.

There are some who wouldn't mind more work, I for one would love to handle the reports/appeals if possible as I'm home 24/7. I'm sure the same feeling applies for some other staff as well.

Most cheaters come for the reactions, not because of "easy wins." Join any game with a cheater and at least one legitimate player, if not 3+, will react. It's almost as much as if a youtuber were to join a game.
-People leave the game in frustration.
-Many innocent players get accused of hacking.

The best solution is to ignore them.

Rules are made for reasons, without them there would be no order and things would get out of hands - chaos.
They are there not just for show. The staff team will enforce them, the community would remind them.

-More fun for everyone. Who wants a better community where everyone is okay with each other?
-Teaming allows players to take on hackers a bit easier, more or less.

It's not really possible to like everyone from the community, we're bound to dislike someone somewhere somehow and somewhy.
I don't see how it would be fun to team just because there is a hacker, they aren't gods and not invincible. It may be hard to kill them but teaming up for that may get the player in trouble and I wouldn't risk that.
Example: I decided to team with Player B to kill the hacker, Player C saw us teaming and decided to record us without the hacker in it (probably cause he is far away or something) so Player B and I would get into trouble.

-Fewer people will break the rules.

Actually it's encouraging player to break the rules.
Hey! There's a hacker, lets team up ... (there is no hacker)
Or, Hey! There is a hacker (backstabs and kill them, is salty cause they or their friend got killed)

Cubecraft is Cubecraft. we're not like this and that server that's why we're cubecraft.
Illegal clients will never be allowed - "But it isn't fair!" there is no such thing as fairness.

Before you say "I said there was sarcasm! Can't you read?"
As if it's obvious to tell, this isn't verbal chat where we can hear it in your voice.

If you want me to clarify some others I may have missed out, feel free to tag me or start a P.conversation.
