Good morning / afternoon / evening / night from wherever you're reading this!

I guess there's a need for a slow down of 10-15 seconds on the discord server's #staff-help text channel because many people I have observed in the recent times argue with the responses they get from the staff and some get toxic to spam. It's not only going to keep control in spam and arguments, but it will also be easy on the staffs.

Hey,

I feel like having a 10-15 second delay would cause a lot of frustration because of people wanting a fast reply on a certain question, like why they got muted or banned. I think 2-3 seconds would be more suitable if they were to add this cooldown, but I'm not a fan of it.

This will also slow down staff-help a lot because moderators need to wait for an answer because the person has to wait 10-15 seconds before responding to the question.

This will make staff-help very messy in my opinion. Sorry, but I voted no.

I am going to not agree with this suggestion because of the following:

We, Helpers and Mods, the ones who often reply in staff-help, are there to help people if they have a question, that's what the Discord channel is for. I get your concerns, but even though some people might spam, there are always loads of people who need help and sometimes it is raining questions in staff-help. If there is a bot attack, too many questions about one (broken) problem on the server or whatever, then we can always turn on slowmode ourselves, but I don't think it's a good idea to enable it as a permanent thing. I hope you get what I mean 😁

I find this unnecessary as there is a lot of staff members to answer each and every question. A slow mode wouldn’t do anything aside from irritate members with follow ups to their questions.

I can understand your point but when a conversation is happening in the channel it could take a lot longer to find the correct response. Staff-Help isn't always necessary for just one question, a lot of the time there are multiple questions being asked in one conversation.
