-BoJack Horseman (NSFW)
The second show to have made me cry, and more than once in fact. Very emotional, and borderline creepy as you find yourself relating to somebody you don't want to relate to with each passing episode. Pretty weird to be honest, considering the main character's a horse. You'll have to get through six or so "meh" episodes first, but once you get to 'The Telescope' you'll fall in love with this show and will never want it to end.
-Rick and Morty (because I'm smar- wait, that's against the rules) (NSFW)
The raw creativity is inspiring. An elderly man and his grandson (and sometimes granddaughter) traverse different dimensions, meeting all sorts of really crazy monsters. If you're old enough to watch it, then don't be put off by the trashy fan-base or unlikable writers... it's a wild ride that you'll never be able to put down (pilot episode is pretty slow, though). I'm not exaggerating when I say it's one of the best shows to come out in recent times.
-Doctor Who (Season 10 SUCKED though)
A nine-hundred-year-old "timelord" with two hearts travels through time and space saving people (hence why they call themselves the Doctor). One of the best television shows of all time, but you'll probably hate the latest season if you dislike boring token characters and aggressive virtue signalling. Here's to hoping the new writer is better than Moffat has been these past few years!
If you want a good place to start, Seasons 4, 5 and 6 are all outstanding. Season 8 is pretty poor in my opinion, but it redeems itself with season 9. I know watching ten whole seasons of a show is a drain, but it's well worth it. Also, Weeping Angels are scary and the Silence are the coolest monsters to ever grace television. Overall, there are very few episodes I can outright say I hate (most of which are underwhelming finales which aren't entirely bad). Also, no season is 100% terrible, with each of them having at least a handful of brilliant episodes.
Eleventh doctor is the best, hands down. If you disagree, your opinion is wrong. Fight me >:V
-Recess
A gang of five grade-school students go on adventures during recess; simplicity is a beautiful thing. It's sort of what the Rugrats spin-off 'All Grown Up' should've been, to be honest. I must've watched through the entire show five times, and I still adore it. It's very charming and innovative, and captures a child's mind perfectly. In fact, I have a theory that the events of the show aren't happening in real time, but are being reminisced by the characters' adult selves. That would explain all the show's crazy exaggerations, like how the school snitch literally hides in the school trashcans with a pen and pad, how the kinder-gardeners are literal savages who need to be detained by a fence, or how Gretchen is smart enough for the US government to be seizing her science projects. -The Walking Dead (Pre-season 7) (NSFW)
A zombie show? Yawn. Fine, let's watch the first episode... O_O Okaaaay, this isn't just "a zombie show" at all. It takes itself very seriously, the characters all feel real, and actions definitely have consequences. Every episode ends on a cliffhanger, so this show is extremely difficult to put down. It's probably the best television-wise that the zombie genre has to offer. [Warning: Lots of violence and gross-out]
-Breaking Bad (NSFW)
Ah, the first show that ever made me cry... v.v Look, there's no way I can explain this show without getting banned from the forums, so just take my word that it's good and when you're eighteen, binge watch the entire show in a week and cry like I did.
-Arthur
A young anthropomorphic (WHOA I SPELLED IT RIGHT ON MY FIRST ATTEMPT, WOOO!) aardvark named Arthur lives his life in a society of other anthropomorphic animals. This show is extremely adult and does not dumb itself down like many other children's shows, tackling subjects such as cancer or autism or even the September 11 attacks with grave maturity. If you've been a kid, you've heard of this show. Other than The Simpsons, it's the longest-running animated show of all time. You can also find this entire show on YouTube btw, or BBC iPlayer usually has plenty of it. Go watch after you've binged Recess and Doctor Who!
