Well, I recently been viewing post around the forums as I always do, and doing it, I found this thread https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/b...ppeal-codes-shouldnt-be-posted-online.232783/ and it made my think.

Well, going to the main idea as the title says, why not do a sub forum to appealing?
It would be all advantages.

  • A problem that I've seen in the thread located above; some players (though isn't recommended and it's dangerous) still posting their appeal codes, if the sub forum get finally added (perhaps in the new forums, @Zed) this problem would do players log in to appeal, now isn't necessary to log in for appeal. If you are logged in and your account is linked is more difficult you can be impersonated.
  • Do private the infractions which have every player. Currently you can go to the current appeal site and as y'all know, if you put any player name, you can see all his infractions. / Well, what can avoid this, besides the privacy? Currently some disrespectful player who are able to search a player who have saw in a game and He get noticed that isn't banned yet, that avoid those "Hey, why Player isn't banned yet? cubecraft staff suck ;(" typical messages.
  • I would add a reason like facilitate the staff life, but I don't know how his system works...

I think this got already proposed though I wanted to propose it again, please, before do a "stupid" comment like "Not necessary" without reason think about it. Thanks for Reading

Appeals seems to be linked to the game. Moving them to a subforum will just be a step backwards.

idk how their system work, but having made similar stuff I can tell you it’s probably more organised having it separated

Oh yeah, I didn't thought about it, in hypixel use a system like I'm proposing, but I don't know how they do it

Nah, I disagree with this. If they are included in the forums, I would have like to have them at the top of the forum in between "Reports" and "Marketplace" as suggested by @elchuii . It would be like a hyperlink, but as a button. An appeals sub-forum is not necessary.

As @Smoothlyy said, I think it’s better to make a hyperlink/button to the appeal site than create a new sub forum. The appeal site is really easy to use and is in my opinion more than fine.
If I understand you’re second point correctly: I don’t see this as a problem. If you’ve been banned/muted, player have the right to know. This especially with mutes. Sometimes players don’t react so looking up if they are muted is a nice thing. I also don’y really see the pornlem with players saying, That player hasn’t been banned yet. That’s a good thing right?
So I’m not supporting it, but am not completely against. I think this is more up,to,Cubecraft staff to see what’s the easiest to use for them since they have to read all the appeals!

The appeal code problem" isn't too big and it would be easier to just edit the ban screen to say "do NOT share this code with anyone". As you said, this would require people to have their account linked. What if they are bedrock users or if they're playing on an other account. Then they're not linked and it's not safe.

I don't see any issues with being able to check if a player is currently punished or not. Saying they need privacy isn't really a good argument. If you've broken the rules, you have to stand for it. False punishments or undone punishments get removed from the public view.

I don't see a point with this as the current system works perfectly fine. Moving it to the forums would be way more complicated and result in a lot of developing. I'm not even sure if it would work at all. In my opinion, this would only make the system worse and harder to use.

Yeah, I didn't thought in it, this suggestion, my suggestion, have a lot of issues like this and as @NotGingerGeek said...

That's the reason because there's a "?" in the title and I wanted to know all your opinions.

Ty for commenting, I appreciate it a lot :)
