*EDITED*

Here I am, back at it again, with yet anothet suggestion!

So this time, this suggestion is connected to a specific game, though it could also be considered for other games too.

PvP Tournaments:
The idea is to have occasional PvP duel Tournaments. The Tournaments should be announced in all game lobbies and ongoing games by a large chat message announcement along the lines of:
*PVP TOURNAMENT ABOUT TO START**CLICK HERE TO JOIN*

ONLY people of level 15 or higher can take part, to prevent cheaters and unexperienced players.

Once people click this message, they are automatically assigned to take part in the tournament, whether they are in game or not.

The Tournament should consist of multiple rounds (My suggested kit to use for the tournament is either Tank or Iron Warrior). Preferably 64 slots per Tournament, which would make this:
-1st round ~ 32/64 people make it to the next round, the rest are disqualified
-2nd round ~ 16/32 people make it to the next round, the rest are disqualified
-3rd round ~ 8/16 people make it to the next round, the rest are disqualified
-4th round (Quarter Finals) ~ 4/8 people make it to the next round, the rest are disqualified
-5th round (Semi Finals) ~ 2/4 people make it to the next round, the rest are disqualified

**Maybe the 2 people who get disqualified go into a secondary Final, to decide who is 3rd**

-6th round (Grand Final) ~ 1v1 between the 2 who have come this far.

**This could also be done with 32 players per tournament**

Winner could get a 500 exp and 1 Super cubelet.
2nd could get 250 exp and 1 normal cubelet.
3rd could get 125 exp and 1 normal cubelet.

A good feature would also be the ability to spectate fights with a command of some sort.

And like my previous suggestion on here about leaderboards, it is the same deal with this. It is not 100% original, it is strongly based off HCF servers.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Support and like if you like the idea!

You will be seeing an awful lot of me around here, cause I just discovered I LOVE the Forums

NOTE**
I have taken feedback from some replies here and edited the thread.
-lowered suggested prizes
-possibility to cut the amount of players to 32
-added possible level limit to minimize hackers and unexperienced players

If you happen to see this again, take the time to give me more feedback so I can improve on my suggestion. (again, don't kill me for grammatical errors or spelling mistakes. I edited this at 3am again.)

Thanks for the support. Share with friends if you want to see this possible make it into the server, because as I've noticed, not many people have seen this thread.

Good idea. This server needs more competitive things. 1 problem though, hackers. There should be a staffmember watching these tournaments, to eliminate possible hackers.
Very true. I should have considered that in the first place.

Eh dunno. If a staff member is always required to be a referee during these games in order for it to be hosted, it might get a lot complicated than it should be.

1) Games will be hosted inconsistently.
2) Which staff has the ability to watch 64 players at once to ensure none of them are hacking?
3) And if a staff wants to participate in this tourney?

Hacking is indeed a issue

Hmm, wow... this is actually a pretty decent idea. I mean I don't pvp that much anymore but when I did I was always looking for the next competition to try and face.
Such a simple idea when you start reading it but those are usually the best ones. I could see if these tournaments were regular that it might just be a good idea to have the option to receive announcements for them or not (not sure how possible that is) just for those that aren't interested in pvp too much or the idea of joining it in general, I don't think it's too much of a big deal though.

Prizes I don't really have an opinion on because I'd say it would be based on how regular they would be, the more sparse the tournaments are I'd say the greater the reward, you want to make it worthwhile joining them :3

You could maybe have a low level requirement to solve the hacker problem, I mean like level 8 or something just because the majority of hackers are alts that haven't been on the server before. Obviously theres always a chance someone might get through but it could cut a lot of them out.

I don't really reply to things much anymore but this is a nice thread :P wanted to show support for it.

Thanks for the feedback @JaiStrixZ. I agree entirely with your thoughts on the prizes (less Tournaments / bigger prizes)
And as for the level suggestion, I just posted that right before you did. We seem to agree on that, but I only think Level 8 is a bit too low as I have seen cheaters on levels such as 15-20

I think the level requirement should be level 15, I feel as if that is the perfect level, since players will be familiar with the combat system, and that would eliminate a large majority of hackers and spam clickers.
You talked about adding a tournament feature, but what about the kits?
Will all the kits be the same? or is it a random feature
Ex. every tournament will randomize between the kits Tank, Iron warrior, Shell
I like the tournaments being based around something in between Iron Warrior and Tank.
Maybe 1 set of diamond armor, 1 gapple, and 1 diamond sword.
Or just use the tank kit, a simple and basic kit.
As for how much xp you should get, anything more than 500-750 exp for first place, is overkill.
Maybe something like
1st - 500 + super cubelet
2nd - 250 + normal cubelet
3rd - 125 + normal cubelet
Everyone else, maybe 25exp for participating
I hope this does gets added, but we all know tacos isn't a huge fan of adding anything competitive, especially with duels.

@Mesbar Thanks for replying.
Yes, my idea about the kits is the same as yours for the most part.
I had been thinking of suggesting Tank kit to be used as it makes for simple and quick fights. And I also that 1000-750 XP is overkill, now that I think of it again.
