I like the idea as there aren’t many things in 1.8, but I still like 1.9 because its kind of fun to be bad at it xD

True, but after 1.9 the whole system of combos, crits, etc. changed so 1.8 and 1.9 pvp are pretty much completely different in those parts. Sure its 1.8 pvp, but people play 1.8 not only for spam clicking, but probably for the other combat.
They are both different. You should know this :)

It would be more work, (I do not say it is wrong) but not people are already accustomed and the compatibility of new things from Mineraft 1.9 onwards are not compatible with versions 1.8. x

Good suggestion, but having servers like Badlion (with ranker system etc) I'm not sure if this worth it. I personally think that they can be doing better things than this.

YES. Cubecraft as such unique duel types it would be cool to see it in 1.8. Whats the downside?

You van play duels in 1.8 pvp in 1.9

I hope this will be added because if you do on cubecraft 1.8 duels in 1.9 it only removed the cooldown so i think this will be a cool idea

I do not play 1 vs 1, only FFA, I am not a big fan of 1.8 but I understand your thread. You can play 1.8 pvp in 1.9 I think you already knew that but I think the nolife pvpers do want play pvp in the version 1.8.

My own opinion is, No
But for the server and pvp people I will say, Yes

True, but the 1.8 combat system really doesn't work here. You can spam click with axes which is not a thing in 1.8, also you can't block using your sword.. Pretty annoying

In case you hadnt noticed, if you login on 1.9+ then you can create custom kits for 1.8 or use the armour stand to join games with 1.8 PvP. Try looking rather than immediately asking for it

It is not 1.8, it is 1.9 without cooldowns, the difference is very large.
