I almost exclusively play TO4 Egg Wars, but several of these issues persist across all egg wars or the server in general. Some MIGHT be Minecraft or Bedrock as a whole issues, I don't know the technical details:

-default kit selection
if I fail to pick a kit in time, or WORSE, when I'm thrown into the match with only a couple seconds before it begins and am not given the time to do so, it should assign you a kit; whether you pre-select a default, or there's a default set by cubecraft, ANYTHING is better than starting with nothing, which isn't fair.

-disable attack command opening shop AND generator menus
both place-block and attack commands open the shop, this is both unnecessary to have multiple means of doing so, and has the side effect of ruining fights when the latter button will trigger a shop menu as the fight gets too close to the shopkeep or a generator.

-faster shop menus
they're VERY slow, at least on XB1, but i suspect most or all platforms. navigating them is not at all snappy for something so apparently 'simple'. it's bewildering. they're even slower the first time you open them in a session. (same with inventory)

-bulk purchases in shop
having to re-navigate the menu to buy multiples of the same item is horrendously slow. there should be bulk buying (steaks, golden apples, obsidian are big culprits) without the menu resetting each time. even allowing the highlighted selection to remain on the same item after each purchase would be a HUGE improvement.

-back / up level function in shop menus
not being able to go back a step in the menu but having to exit entirely and reopen it (esp with the slow menus, see above) is extra pain that slows down the gameplay and leaves you vulnerable for a really lame and unfortunate reason

-chat messages by player show team color
we should see which team the player is on, it would facilitate MUCH better team communication and match communication amongst all players. It is currently grey for everyone and nothing distinguishes which side a player is on and if someone chatting is talking to YOU or their own team.

-better cheat detection
goes without saying - flyers are in every 3 matches in my experiences, along with rapid attackers and other buffs

-kick function?
not sure if this would backfire in some way, but being able to vote to kick the cheater would be an excellent way of putting the control into players hands to immediately snuff out the cheater

-in-game reporting
reporting a player for cheating with some easy in-game function, even if you came back later with the video evidence, would be nice.

-option to separate out mobile players from matches
this would remove a lot of the cheaters and problem players, in my experience. most of them being 0/low gamerscore mobile players



I probably have more suggestions but I wrote these off the top of my head

I agree with the kit selection(If it really starts you with nothing)
2nd one is not that necessary but It would be not bad actually
I think the shop is not that complicated, when you get used to it
You don't need to reopen the shop to buy multiple items i think
You can't go back while opening a menu because that's the original Minecraft's thing and I don't think It would make a big difference
We have a team chat and a global chat if I'm not wrong
They're working on Sentinel, they just hired some anti-cheat developers, don't you worry, It'll be fixed soon :)
Kick would backfire so much, like I'm bad at pvp xd and they will kick me because I'm doing bad
There is in-game reporting for Iron and upper(I think,I'm stone so I report from https://reports.cubecraft.net/)
If I understand your last suggestion right, mobile players play the bedrock version, PC players play Java so they're seperated

By the way don't get me wrong, I respect all of your suggestions, I just wrote my opinions on these suggestions.

And post the kit selection suggestion to the suggestions sub-forum, It would be cool if it's in the game!

Let's begin with, you shouldn't post this here and in suggestions. If you think it fits better in suggestion you could ask a staff member to move it for you (Discord).

Yes, you should be able to choose a kit making it that it doesn't reset every match!

I know that you can't open a shop while holding a sword, but making it so that you can't open it with your fighting button would be really nice! Giving respawned players a bit more chance to hit someone of when they're close to shop. I'm not sure if this will always work, if someone changed their attack key. I have my attack and place block key changed (Attack is RC and place block is LC), so if they implement it I hope it will work for all key bind configurations.

Although I'd really like this, I'm not sure if they can with how Bedrock Minecraft is made.

This is kind of a no-brainer, of course we want this!

I'm pretty sure you can already do this (On PC for sure)

I'd really like to see team chat introduced! With the same system to as in Java, ! to talk in global.

CubeCraft has just hired new Anti-Cheat developers so this will come. For now reporting is your best option.

No! This would backfire a lot, players in big parties could just votekick all enemies. I don't want this to be added at all.

Yes! A /report function should be added to Bedrock. Although it might take a while before it's effective since Bedrock staff isn't in the greatest numbers.

Again, no Bedrock has the beauty in uniting all platforms, lets keep it that way.

>I combined 2 problems accidentally. you cant buy multiples without re navigating to the item each purchase, which is awful, and to buy different items you have to close and reopen, because that's faster than navigating to the bottom to select 'back'.

You can't go back while opening a menu because that's the original Minecraft's thing and I don't think It would make a big difference

Fighting with bare fists, pick axe, or other held items around those still induce the problem. I don't see any reason to allow attack to open anything.

The bottom selection is a back function, but that's slower than closing and reopening the entire shop menu, which is too slow. Ideally some CONTROLLER button or keyboard key would be able to go back a step.

Whilst this would help, it'd still be confusing for many message types to see global chats where the missing context of what team the speaker is on. it helps narrow down who/where the player is and give context to what they're talking about.

I mean, you'd set it to have to reach some higher threshold, so minorities or friend groups of players couldn't abuse it. I never see more than 3-4 friend groups in pub games I play. It would be hard to get the thresholds right. 50% of the players?

I'll stress this would be an option, even if the default was set to all platforms. I'll also note that several other of the increasing handful of cross-platform games are experiencing similar issues and the players want the same option. Like CoD:Warzone it's been discussed a lot.

So, I can agree to the most of this. I have an idea for the shop:
If you could close/ to back to main manu with right click/place-block-button, shopping would be a bit faster and you click the shopkeeper while fighting (not just with a pick or sth, even with a sword sometimes!!!), it would be much more comfortable to close it with right-click instead of esc.

Kicking out mobile players would be kind of "device racism", if you dont want mobile gamers, play on pc and play java edition.

I also dont think that vote-kicking is nice. Yes, we need more options to act against cheaters, but vote-kicking may result into troll kicking or kicking a good rushing player or sth. Or maybe you get votekicked because someone thinks you cheat, and you dont.

But I can totally agree to the rest.

Well, even with a sword it may happen. If it happens to me next time, I'll record that and do a bug report.

I am so confused. Is this a new update to lucky blocks because I was grinding lucky islands duels for a leaderboard spot and I got a mob called the "skeleton knight" I have never seen this before and I have played 1000s of lucky islands games. It had full iron armour but no weapon basically a skeleton version of the old giant mob from the old versions
