EggWars Improvments for some pvpers

I think that rods should be added in egg wars and the price should be:

64 diamonds normal mode

32 diamonds for op mode

You cant buy it in hardcore

Rod pvp doesnt exist in 1.9 anymore rods have stopped doing damage so rods dont have knockback on players anymore.

yea but it would make 0 sense in 1.9. Also 1.8 pvp is spam2win
1.9 pvp is skill2win so in my eyes 1.9 is much better. However you like 1.8 eggwars. With your prices I just fear that it wont work out. For a stack of diamonds in normal mode you can get the best weapon, a good bow and tons o arrows so rods wouldnt matter anymore at that point of the game.

I believe that the staff want to keep having just the one form of project (bow) in Eggwars. It keeps it more of a faster pace, short range minigame at the beginning, and stretching it out a bit more towards the end, where bows are needed for defence.

While this is true, the original 1.9 perk for fishing rods now push mobs and players towards the rod. This can be used in various ways, such as pushing them off a bridge, though it may be more inefficient.

Not necessarily. Some people do not know how to use rods, and some people know how to use them to the extent where it's hard to get out of the combo. That won't be a fair matchup, wouldn't you say?

Do you know that you can play egg wars and skywars in 1.8? You can simply log into cubecraft with 1.8 :). Also, I'm pretty sure they won't add rods.

Please don't double post (let alone quad post) just edit your post. I don't play 1.8, but if I did I wouldn't want to have it because it would be annoying to combat against it. Also to much knockback on it.

I've requested this before but what if they make knockback rods available too,but they would cost 96 diamonds to get a knockback 1 fishing rod, this make the game fun and if someone is better geared than you, you can knock them off the island, it would put an interesting perspective to eggwars that would be fun to experiment with

nope soz but I don't like rods and I with 64 diamonds then you could buy the best weapon in the game and iron armour so on so forth, :)
