Ender pearls in Eggwars

At the moment there are ender pearls only in op mode in egg wars, however I think that there should also be ender peals in normal mode. The reason why I think ender peals should be added to normal mode is that you will quite often get people who will go to mid and collect 5 diamonds for their diamond gen, destroy their bridge and then stay at their base for the rest of the match getting stacked (this is most prevalent in team eggwars). Camping like this is extremely annoying because as you build you can be shot by punch bows making you flying backwards or be knocked off the edge, or you can be shot by power bows which do a lot of damage to you which makes it very hard to bridge over to someone elses base and it slows down the game. I think enderpearls would be a good addition to normal mode as it would allow for a better flow of the game and would be far more fun than having to play a long boring game of trying to bridge to the person's base.

I think that the cost you could put for enderpearls in normal mode is a stack and a half of diamonds or 2 stacks using the 2 boxes that the villager has availabe when trading.

I dont think that enderpearls are needed too badly in hardcore mode because bows are not enchanted making them not as strong to defend with making camping a lot harder.

Build walls at the side to stop yourself from falling off.

After you make the walls, make a roof/box yourself up by placing 1 block in front of you and 2 high, so you can regen before you continue. Don't forget they need to farm quickly while defending your attack.

Don't forget to consider how enderpearls will encourage camping, people would quickly get diamonds and break their bridge to mid, yes but now you have given more players reason to do that.
What if someone has no egg, they just need to farm, stack up and make it safe, shoot an enderpearl, break the bridge to mid, farm a bit while bow spamming, stack up safely, shoot an enderpearl > repeat til opponent gives up and leaves.

Sorry but I like normal mode as it is, there are many ways to counter campers, just think of a strategy.

You can actually report campers with several warnings and a video. However, they only will get a kick from the game. They are rethinking about the gamper punishment.

But I think 1 stack and a half (64+32=96) diamonds should be good. The amount of diamonds sounds like it is crazy. But you already can have 32 diamonds in almost 1 minutes. So 3 minutes standing on a Max level diamond generator and you got 2 enderpearls.


You're also right about the fact that Hardcore doesn't need enderpearls because the bows aren't strong enogh. Perhaps, they still can bowspam you to death or knock you off. Just to let you know. :)

Although that is a solution, that would take way to long to do, the bridge alone would take 10-20 minutes (depending on the map).

It's either that or you guys run around enderpearling away from each other for longer than that.

If you have a team mate then it makes it easier, you can bridge from different direction.

I actually agree with this, maybe it is possible to edit the damage to 14 hearts so you need a god apple to survive the throw? Anyways, it also needs to be 90 diamonds.

I don't know for sure, it might be better if an ender pearl was two stacks (the max that can be given to the villager at once) just because they are so valuable but I certainly agree that they should be present in all modes to prevent people from camping or just sitting on their island. My most famous example of this was when a team spent two hours with no egg (while my team had an egg) spamming bows each time we tried to build over to them. So yes, something like adding ender pearls definitely needs to be done.
