Fences in eggwars (:

Plz, fences are so annoying. Shall we add this to eggwars ? I was thinking about the following prices; 1 fence for 1 gold, 1 fence gate for 5 iron.

And also,this seems like something that could make camping easier. You cant get hit through fences, but you can see through them, making them really good camping defenses. However, I also see what you are saying, add them for egg protection. So I'm at about -.5. Thank you for the idea though!

I don't see what the difference between this and chests are, in 1.8 you always had to use your fist, yet another thing 1.9 messed up. But anyways, a 1.5 block high defense is unique so I'm going to give this a +1

Just keep normal blocks. Also, I can already see someone getting trapped with a 2x2x2 fence chamber and just getting destroyed by arrows. Its just not a needed block. 1.5 height might be nice, just with how thin it is, and the fact you need to buy an axe to break through fence. Just no. -1

I don't know it's like a 50% 50% to me :/ fences can be a nice idea for another game but why in eggwars? I think eggwars players won't make a farm :3

Actually, why not add it? It makes the game more interesting:rolleyes:
It could bring a lot of new strategies, Think about skybridges with fences on the side or even at the bottom, and gates to open and close when shooting arrows, preventing getting knocked off the island that easy, a new way to protect the egg, etc. And I'm sure as hell some people would make some interesting builds with it.;)
Also, it could give more value to gold, since you could buy them from gold in your suggestion. A nice counter could be TNT. (Or the opposite, I dunno the blast resistance of nether brick fences)
