How to debuff the Wizard kit

  • The wizard would be better with reduced speed

  • Armour should be unbreakable

  • Potions should re-spawn

  • The wizard would be better with poison 1 instead of poison 2

After a collecting a bit of feedback I have come up with a few changes I can see would be beneficial to the wizard kit:

1- The wizard would be better with poison 1 instead of poison 2
Poison 2 is just too powerfull, in a 1v1 situation it is ok, but when you are constantly taking damage from all sides at all times, a potion that brings you down to half a heart on its own and stops you from running at all is extremely overpowered.

2- Armour should be unbreakable
Wizards are especially undergeared, and take enormous amounts of damage, if other nerfs are to be done to this kit I believe

3- Potions should re-spawn
After drinking a potion a cooldown exists and the potion is restocked after a while, it beats having to die to get the kit again.

4- The wizard would be better with reduced speed (currently speed 2) or no speed.
With reduced speed it wouldn't be the same as it is now, damage+run+poison+run+damage + kill, with reduced speed it would give other kits a chance to actually be able to fight back against this kit.

I like each of these individual changes but we cannot do all of them at once..
What changes do you prefer?

I like all of them but if I had to choose 1 by 1 I would

1: Poison 2 to Poison 1
2: Reduced Speed
3: Unbreakable Armor
4: Potion Respawn

Posion 2 to 6 seconds. Absolutely no need to nerf it in OP mode ; just the duration

Have potions respawn. Armour shuuld not be unbreakable.

Speed could be speed1 . Not something bad . Speed should be nerfed to 1 .

I think p3 would be a lot better.
My opinion: reduce the duration of the poison II effect, reduce the speed pots to speed 1 and the armor to p3, making the armor unbreakable and having potions "regen" over time is a really attractive mechanic as well. (edited)

If armor is not Unbreakable, the kit has to have an advantage over other kits in its first fight to make up for it. I don't want to have a kit like that.

What I think might work:
Unbreaking Armor
Wizards can get potions back (Based on damage dealt, Kills or time alive)
No Speed Potions
Strength and Regen potions only last 30 seconds
Poison only lasts 6 seconds

But the important thing is to actually test it.

It's basically just good armor that also protects against magic damage. Breaking the armor isn't a reliable way to kill a Wizard at the moment, if he sees the armor is about to break he will use the speed to walk away from the fight. I think the armor is still noticeably weaker than Warrior armor against melee hits, but the potions can't be a huge advantage whith armor that strong.
