Fishing rod in Duels

I would love to have working 1.9 fishing rods on cubecraft in general. When rods work then I would like a rod kit :3

I agree, I think the fishing rod idea could be quite interesting. It adds more ways to fight and play the game, so why not add it if it doesn't take too much work to code? It could be used for more games than just PVP, like Eggwars, Skywars, Survival Games, Blockwars and so on.

If people don't like it, they don't have to use it. Simple : P

Fishing rods don't work on Cube. They should pull entities in 1.9 but they don't. And adding 1.8 fishing rods in 1.9 combat is a very bad idea.

Mind if I ask why? I don't remember 1.8 that much, but the idea of a fishing rod pulling entities seems like it could be handy in certain situations (providing they code it in of course).

1.8 fishing rods push players they don't pull.
And if you spam it then people will have a hard time making hits. The 1.9 version of the rods are much better you can be sneaky and pull people of their islands, bridges, into traps and if they're running you can basically make a "Get over here!" move.
