So you want to make a floating island yet you do not know how to? Well continue reading and you will find out by following this simple tutorial by ME Pingu!
Requirements:
- World Painter
- World Edit OR Single Player Commands (I am using the liteloader version)
- Minecraft (duuh)
Step 1:
Load up Word Painter and create a Flat world where you will create your mountains. OMG WHAT IS HE DOING! THIS IS A ISLAND TUTORIAL!!! Calm down. This is the first step.
Ok you have loaded up World Painter and created a flat world called whatever you like. Now what.
Well Create mountains of course! You can easily do this by using custom brushes found here:

Then you can easily Create a mountain like this:
Step 2:
Export the world as a new minecraft save by doing [ctrl] + [E]
Make sure it is like this:
Then click Export
Step 3:
Load up the world and now here comes the tricky part so make sure you copy everything I do.
First go to a point on the ground and do //pos1
Then go to the other side of the mountain and do //pos2
Step 4:
Save and quit out of the world and then create a new superflat world.
Go to Customize.
Remove the Grass and Dirt layer
Click presets and make sure it looks like this:
Load up the world, Fly Up And Make Sure Your Y co-ordinate is at least 150 Depending how high your mountain is, then do:
THERE! Finished the final Step to do is Build, Make it look bOOtyfull!!!
