Forum suggestion and hopefully clarification about something.

Before anyone says "They are working on a new forums and this is most likely to be added" please hear me out, I am aware they are currently working on a new forum and I would like to include some suggestions for it just in case. (who knows, maybe it will come in handy)
I mean, just because they are working on something doesn't mean we can't give more suggestions/opinion on it, right? Right! So here it is:

I noticed some players not knowing where to place their questions under in the forums and may often end creating threads under Suggestions, Game modes, Player reports and what not. What about a General Discussion category? I'm pretty sure they may have already thought of it but perhaps not.
It would also be nice to have a Contest and Change log category on it's own so players who want to look at the archived competitions and see what they can do to step up their game, it would be easily accessible.

Hopefully this is something players can agree on (or like) and that we'll see it in the future. Thank you!
Open to debates and criticism, in short, just voice out any concerns you have and I'll think about a solution for it. :D

So I heard from many and seen on the player reports that cross teaming is not allowed, but I also see that it is allowed and not punishable, is there some miscommunication? (I don't think I remember what server they said it was allowed on) but I've seen some players on eggwars/skywars saying a Mod told them it was okay to cross-team.

Would like clarification for that - thank you so much.

I think a general area would be good.

In skywars, it's allowed.

In eggwars and lucky islands, it isn't allowed.

Even with more categories possible more confusing would arise. Either way, it's still going to be a problem with people posting in the incorrect section.

SkyWars it's allowed for sure currently.
EggWars is a maybe? I'm not sure. I have heard some people getting banned for it whiles others don't. I heard that if a staff was in-game for the EggWars crossteaming, a kick would occur. As for Lucky Islands, I have no idea.

They cant ban Cross Teamers yet because the Ban System is too Harsh... So they are for now lucky... (The Ban System only bans people from 1 month and up) Nice idea I would like that... Also a I want 1.8 back Section :}

I think teaming in Team Skywars, Luckyislands & Eggwars is not allowed.
And I think teaming in solo skywars is allowed.

As for this, I guess it mostly depends on the layout of the forums.
The first time I signed up here, I had absolutely no idea where to click to get to the forums section until I saw the location icon.
Perhaps something like this :

(I realized I messed up my English in there, sorry for that.)

There will be a tiny box [] like this in pink (or other color if they do choose to use it) that way, if you do not hover over it, it wouldn't block your screen. Even if you do hover over it by mistake, it wouldn't take over the whole screen.

For first time users, there will be a small pop up (where the background goes all blurry) and an arrow will point to the box [] telling you to hover for easy access.

We could put the Inbox there as well as the profile for easy access

Well I hope this would help with your concern! I apologize for the late response as uploading the image from my phone didn't work and I had to take the round-a-bout way. I'm not a designer or artist so it's kind of messy but perhaps it could give them more ideas. Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it.

I think a "Help" section (that could be sectioned off into server, general, and forums) would be a nice thing to have on the forums so when a player has a question, they can post there instead of trying to guess which place would be best to ask or bring up whatever they wanted to bring up. Also, a "General" area would be nice too.

As for the clarification... For now, Teaming is allowed in Solo Skywars and Solo Lucky Islands. In Solo Egg Wars and all team games, cross-teaming is not allowed. I think the reason for all the controversy over the "teaming" rule is because the staff cannot punish for any amount of time that is under a month. A month punishment is too harsh for teaming, at least in the beginning, which is why we only kick when we see it. If the players keep doing it then escalating to a month or more would be more appropriate. Though, after the new punishment system is out, who is to say that the teaming rule will change for all solo gamemodes.

As for the teaming in eggwars you mods should really and a punishment cause its going crazy with the amount of cross teamers
