Real short forum suggestion:
Just like with the report, after the thread has been locked place it somewhere in an archive to prevent useless posts.

Most threads are locked if they have been answered. Sometimes people still want to view locked threads, it may even answer a question that have :D

If the threads are locked and hidden, most people won't see them, when we want them to.

Looks like the questions been answered. Also, to add on if the locked threads were to become invisible to user, most of topics will be repeated again. If they weren't invisible to users, the user can see that it has been suggested/reported and won't double post the same suggestion/report.
