So the VIP levels update came out on Bedrock and some of us might avoid adding too many people due to chats being spammed.
The suggestion is for both Java and Bedrock as both networks can have a lot of friends based on your rank/VIP level
The idea of the suggestion is to add the option to disable friend join notifications or party invites for regular friends while adding in a command to add a command to add a person to your favorites list, which will, based on your settings:
A - When your favorite friend joins and your friend notifications and party invites are enabled, your favorite friend's join notification will be marked in some way, for example:
The normal party invite or friend join will be in normal text, while if your favorite friend joins, sends you a party invite, or in the case of Java, sends you a message, it'll be bolded.
B - If you change your settings to favorite people only, it'll only show the friend join message if your favorite friend joins the server and only they can send you party invites and messages.
And for the Java players, they can have the option to only allow favorite friends to send them messages if they want to
Of course, you'll be able to change it through the friends/party settings respectively. For example you can only set the join messages to favorites only, but you can still message your other friends and play with them if you want to
If you believe its a good suggestion and want to see it in the server, react with the green checkmark.
Edit 1: Made clarifications on the settings
