Get out of your comfortzone!

Hi everyone!
I'm going to be really honest and really straight.
The current minigames are really basic. Skywars, Eggwars, PvP,.. It's getting old.

I'm asking the developers to get out of their comfortzone!
I'm thinking of new games, like being lost in space or whatever. Include rescource packs. Make epic textures!
What about a game where you have to go around in a neighbourhood as a detective? Where you have to find a missing
person/object?

I do understand people with weak computer wouldn't be able to play. But that's not an excuse to not add this.. People with good computers would be enjoying so much! And people with weak computers.. Well, there's always Youtube.

And indeed, being lost in space or being a detective is more something for an adventure map, but I think Cubecraft could make it minigame-like!

If you're that kinda person that wants UHC to be "fixed". Just accept it, there's nothing to fix. The game is working fine, but no one ever plays it because it's DEAD (deal with it)
And yes, indeed. Parkour has been in maintenance for a few years now. But bringing it back won't attract many more players.

Also, vanity should be updated, but there are already threads made about that topic!

Can deny, will definitely log in to play if Parkour is reintroduced.

Would love more unique games (look at how great Snowman Survival is!), but think we should avoid requiring resource packs. It's the worst part of Lucky Islands, since many either cannot install it or lag out when doing so.

Yes indeed. Snowman Survival is original and really nice to play! Adding more original games would be really effective!

But for real, they don't have to add the parkour minigame to arcade, if they fix the parkour that has been in maintenance, they can just add the parkour minigame there..

I like the idea of using resource packs, but I don't think many people will make use of it.
Plenty of people use their own resource pack while playing, so they'd rather not install this. Forcing players to download the resource pack also isn't an option due to those who can't download/handle the resource packs.
I'm not sure if it's possible, but they could try to add a vanity section just for resource packs which could be found in Cubelets, given at x rank, etc. like the usual vanity. This doesn't guarantee that players will use it, as I expect only the one's with a vanilla pack & capability to use server resource packs would even consider using it in the first place.

This is a great idea! I would love to see more games that aren't " kill everyone else, BTW you're in the void don't fall". The being said, I love skywars, EggWars, lucky islands, etc, I just think that, like you said, if we want to stay in the game, we need to branch out.

Firstly if they reintroduced parkour plenty of people would come back. Secondly, I dont think this would work. There are far too many people who dont have a high spec pc (such as me) and wouldnt be able to play these games. This would make people have to pay for better computers essentially making it a pay to play game. This would be really bad as the devs would be spending large amounts of time on a game that not many people will play. And the devs already have far too much to do, such as fixing bugs, etc.

No thanks. It's not like the players with a crappy computer aren't people. It's almost like you're saying that the players with crappy computers cant play certain games and that is of course not true. I know you're not saying that specifically, but that is just how I see it. Also youtube isn't the answer.
My friend has a crappy computer and as much as I would like to play this game, my friend wouldn't be able to.

Agree, indeed. Youtube actually isn't an answer! But do you REALLY think that if they'd add Parkour back, we'd have 40.000 players? (like Hypixel)

No, but the player count would increase to maybe even 15k players? Which would be sick to have!
40k players is a little over realistic for cubecraft, but maybe in the future!

But I swear to god I'd kill sombody to get that game back.. I love it.. and they took it from me!

The game is not working fine; 1/5 games crash.
This makes people not want to invest the huge time a UHC takes, which leads to games filling up slower which discourages new players - unaware of the bug - from waiting for a game. This creates a downward spiral that of course to anyone unaware of the problems would seem that the gamemode is just unpopular and dead.

I'm not being 'that kinda person' that disagrees with new suggestions because old games need to be worked on, but it's important to know why some games fail, especially whilst you're wanting developers to push the limits of Minecraft, and yet the problems are technical.
