yeah thats the most important topic, playing 1.8 PvP im so pro normally the people tell me hacker xD, when the people tell me that i screenshoot my minecraft version who is LabyMod for a proof that im not. in my personal opinion its better the 1.8 its more diynamic

I don't think it's a good idea, changing to 1.8 maybe not increase the number of players, I personally like the pvp of 1.9 you don't have to be clicking like crazy, I'm just giving my point of view.
