So here's what I'm thinking. As a forgiving person I am, I feel like the banning system should change. I feel like a one month ban is basically just being time to wait. Most of them will still hacking. So, I'm thinking this. If the staff member who banned the hacker wants to do this, he/she can have a talk to convince the hacker to stop hacking. I know this kinda sounds crazy but, everyone has a little good in them. If they hear what they're doing, they'll realize that what they're doing is wrong. I mean we should really start talking to hackers to convince them to stop hacking. To be honest, to stop hackers from hacking would be amazing. That's something that NO anti cheat can do. I hope you guys like my idea. This program if it's successful, it'll be called Cube Hackers Forgiving Program. Motto: Everyone is good inside.

Hey it sounds great but there are over the 1000 reports/day how would you contact everyone the staff is already realy busy and then you give them more work to do ?

Staff members have the option. They don't have to do it. Only if they want :-

I would somewhathink disagree. Most hackers hack to troll people and they do not care when they get banned. The ones that do care usually take full responsibility and admit their mistake and get unbanned. With the 1000+ reports, this would somewhat make life harder for staff members but I do like somewhat of your suggestion.

That's what the appeals are for.
Some who don't care to be banned would most likely not appeal for an unban.
For others, getting banned is kinda like a wake up call. They'll realize that their action have consequences and that the ban can result in a permanent ban.
They can appeal, but have to think through it carefully because they only got one chance to appeal.
Screw up and it's rejected.

Staff members already don't have that much time to do appeals and reports. Having 1 on 1's with each person they ban would just make the process significantly longer

So you want the staff to spend their entire life having a heart to heart discussion with every hacker on CubeCraft?
What exactly is the appeal system for?
Since the players who would actually stop hacking because of a ban are the ones who appeal, a better idea would be to put a note in the appeal about how hacking is stupid and makes people hate you.
Any hacker that doesn't appeal is clearly someone who wants that unfair advantage so badly they'll never give it up.
Also, a ban is basically that discussion you're talking about. It says unspoken: "Stop Hacking, Its Idiotic And Will Get You To Stop Playing On Our Server!"
