I think cubecraft could use a better hack detection system, something like watchdog on hypixel. Im applying for staff so hopefully I can get rid of some hackers.

CubeCraft has the Anti-Cheat Sentinel which detects and bans hackers in ban waves. You can also get them banned by reporting them. Record hackers and report them here: https://reports.cubecraft.net/login, though make sure that the video is under 5 minutes of duration. If you require an account for the report site, please type /registerreports in-game. About that you're applying for Helper, I'd recommend you to become active on the forums first :)

The current anti-cheat it's working good, there is not so much hackers in cubecraft comparated with 3 months ago. Sometimes you can see someone flying in the game, but in other game, probably the anti cheat will catch him. And he will be banned

you can make this experiment, record and report all the hackers, probably your report will be denied, because the players it's currently punished for sentiel (the anti-cheat)

Hypixel have watchdog and CubeCraft have sentiel, both work good, nowadays I only see between 5 or 6 hackers in 3 hours; Good luck in your application, but helpers are not allowed to ban users. Watchdog is bad I have been false ban so many times I know a couple of my friends that have been false ban by it as well. They are working on the anti cheat in no time it will be a lot better.

I can agree that there has been a lot of "hackers" lately in game. The best way to deal with them as of right now is to record them here and report them here: https://reports.cubecraft.net. I'm sorry, but CubeCraft doesn't copy other plugins from other servers, in this case Hypixel their anti-cheat.

To recap everything, CubeCraft doesn't copy other plugins from servers. The best way to deal with hackers is to record and report. :)

Thanks guys but I honestly think its kind of hard to ban a hacker if the video is under 5 minute but I guess staff can't go through a long video just to ban a hacker

As previous mentioned, CubeCraft has an anti-cheat software called Sentinel which does actively remove cheaters from the server. Personally, I don't see that many cheaters now thanks to Sentinel but if you do see one, you should always report them (if possible) here. Since you did mention that you intend on applying for staff, I do suggest you read over this page if you haven't done so already as it could be useful to you. Good luck with applying!

YouTube has an video editing software programmed into it, so if you do record a video of someone cheating, and the video is over five minutes in length, you can cut it down and remove unnecessary parts.

Teaming doesn't requite a warning anymore. You can report them without any given warnings.
Also, your message is writen before by another member. So I don't know why you're copying it if it's not yours.

First of all you can't be staff, (have you already readed the thread 'what do we look for in a application' ? https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/helper-applications-open.139999/ ) U need to have 100 messages to get accepted as 'helper' And the second thing is 'Developers' are very busy to make the anticheat (sentinel) better and better.

As you have read by now cubecraft has sentinel, which is honestly pretty good as it is. It may not be the fastest but after a game or two they are often banned, however one thing useful about sentinel is that it has a learning AI to it, this means the longer it runs, the more it bans, and the more logs it reads it slowly becomes better at it's job. If you were around you can already see that it gets better, and we are ages above the point before sentinel was put into use.

Sentinel is a joke tb. And he knows how to report , he's just asking for a better anticheat. Sentinel is a horrible anticheat that does more harm than good.

That's where you're wrong. It's hard to create a system that's supposed to work and moderate thousands of players at a time, or same time...? Getting the anti-cheat to perfection will probably never happen, Sentinel will never be a perfect system. Do you honestly think Sentinel will fix every single problem?

Yes, almost always when I reported a hacker Sentinel is fastr then the moderators. Still it is not fast enough though but Sentinel is way better now then when it launched, and it will become better, we just have to wait

I come across hackers very often. Its a terrible anticheat. When you clearly see six people saying the same thing over and over its pretty clear annoying .
