Java Hello, how about pvp tournaments?

Well I’ve been thinking about how in hypixel you can do tournaments in pvp. I realy enjoy this but the thing is I think I would prefer it on 1.9. How about 16 tournaments 24 tournaments and 32 tournaments. 16 winner gets 500 exp and runner up gets 250. 24 winner gets 1000 exp and runner up gets 500. 32 winner gets 2000 exp and runner up 32. Could do some loot point rewards too. This would be a fun way to tes,t out your skills. However using alts to win a tournament should be bannable.

Maybe make the brackets a bit smaller like 8s? I just think it would be great to be able to pvp each other in this type of way especially if you have a big party.

32 isn't that much, there are eggwars/team skywars maps that require 32 players and still fill. There are always about 40 people in pvp lobbies, and many more pvpers who play in FFA would be interested in this too so it would fill for sure I think.

24 player wouldn't work because it would go from 24 -> 12 -> 6 -> 3 players

I like the idea. Maybe have a weekly leaderboard instead of an all-time leaderboard so people have some type of grind to work for. When I see the leaders in all the other game modes (i.e. PvP kills, Eggwars wins, etc.) it really downs my motivation to play the game. If there was an implementation for a tournament feature, I would like to see the rewards be similar to XP and or cubelet/cubelets. People that use alts for or using it to win farm/kill farm should be bannable. Very good idea though. I would love to see this in the beta lobby at some point or somewhere in the PvP lobby.

Yes, that's a good idea I think. I really like to play against other players for a prize. It's a whole happening to bring cubecrafters together.
