Help, please!

My son wants to play eggwars & I have no idea what I'm doing!
Bought Minecraft, for PC & have the Windows 10 edition.
there is no option to change IP address in multiplayer.
Is it something else that we are supposed to purchase

1) typ your e-mail And password again (By restarting your minecraft)
2)press the IP: play.cubecraft.net
3)If dont work, try singleplayer. Try another IP of another server.
4) make a video, But normal it has to work

Hello! I am sorry for any confusion, but the windows 10 edition cannot join PC servers. You will need to download just the regular version. Since you already purchased an account, you shouldn't have to pay anything more. Just go to minecraft.net, sign in, click downloads, click more download options, and then click download for windows. This will download the minecraft installer. Run that program and it will set up minecraft for you. Once finished, run minecraft, and click play. Once fully launched, go to multiplayer, click add server, and type in the IP play.cubecraft.net and join.

When I tried to install the "older" version it would not full load & the download installer would freeze.
Then I did it without the installer & we were able to play regular minecraft once, everyother time I tried to open the icon or any of the minecraft icons the download installer would start up & then freeze
