does anyone sort of know how to make quicktime lag less?

I had the same issue. I just don't use QuickTime, I use camtasia 2. Use the free trial, after it's up (if you like it and want to continue to use it) this is what I did:

LOL, thats the biggest lie there is in the computer world. Have you ever used a Mac? I bet you haven't, cause you wouldn't be saying that, haha.
Let me remind you that Mac OSX runs over Unix, similar to Linux, so stability is great and power/control on the system side is much better then windows.



Its not trash, as its still a Mac, but I would not suggest getting older ones.



This is good enough for gaming.

They are. Default specs are quite high, our friend JohnColes managed to run minecraft across 3 1080p screens with top settings, so I would say its pretty powerful.

Plus by default you have the very sexy retina display, gotta love that.

I'm pretty sure that's good, I was going to get that for a higher price on Apple's website.

I figured out that I'll be able to get a 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display bu July, I'm going to get that instead.

If you want a used Mac thats a bit cheaper then the new one (I would go for the new one), then use Apple's deals, then you have a computer that has been looked into by Apple employees and you know it works, not something like Ebay or craiglist, where you don't really know if it will last you longer then a month.
