Normally you can buy 330 Minecoins for 2500 points (2000 with stage 2) but I think Microsoft deleted Minecoins from the list:

Mine coins won't work anymore for some reason. INSTEAD! you can get a Xbox gift card and redeem that way as a alternative

I would never pay for CC so I have also used MsRew. 3 times to get ranks. I use the option "xbox gift card", which adds x amount of money to your microsoft account balance. When you buy Minecoins, you can choose to pay or use your account balance, which will have money if you redeemed points.
