I think this could be abused a whole lot

but I’d like some opinions. Have you ever encountered a salty helper wannabe idiot in game , who starts swearing when you win? You laugh at him at first with a “lol ez” but then they start getting annoying .

Well , you want to get the guy muted and laugh at them more , but dont want to go through the trouble.

Well , here’s where the “Unwuana” feature comes into play. When you scroll over a message , there’s a little “Report this noob?” icon . Now , when you click it , it’ll report the message . If abused , the user will permanantly lose this ability.

Problems:
Too much of a hassle for the poor stafferinos
(You have sentinel for the bans , who knows if you can handle it though) . Maybe it required more staff , but that would mean a dreaded helper wannabe infestation.
But maybe it wont , since the glorious cough chat cough filter , blocks almost everything anyway (exaggeration obv)

Next potential problem would be this

Shamel—> Me : K
Shamel—> Me : Y
Shamel—> Me: S eazzz

The guy has sent a death threat , but i cant report him because he split it across three messages.

Add a /report command that logs the latest chat history.

Maybe if this is implemented , people will be too scared to swear and hence , you can ease down on the chat filter.

Yes please, the current report system is a lot of hassle, sometimes taking over five minutes just to report somebody. Perhaps offer it to certain players on an individual basis, rather than giving hundreds of thousands of people access to it at once. That'd be mayhem.

Give it to all players that have linked their in game to their reports account

There used to be a /report command, however, almost no one used it properly (i.e. People were like /report "own username" Hi staff). Also, players tended to report other players without a specific reasoning, so that's why there's no /report command right now.

About this. It's good in a way that more players will have forums accounts, yet, it still won't lower the amount of meaningless reports that happen (meaningless as in the player accused of hacking has already left the game or anything of that sort). If we give this command to only a certain amount of players, isn't that basically assigning something similar to the Helper job? I don't really see much benefits in reimplementing the /report command rn.

Or we just make it so people can't report the same user twice until staff see the first report on that specific user. Also probably removing this ability to people who abuse it would be nice.

If you REALLY want to get that player muted, then just report him.

Reports has already been a thing. And no, it will probably generate false reports. I know this is about swearing, but honestly, if someone really wanted to get someone muted, just use the website.
