Hello everyone, today I have a suggestion on how /report could be improved. I currently avoid using /report as a lot of the time I am on when all the staff is asleep and when I report by the time it's looked at the user is either offline or banned so the report is pointless. Here are my suggestions to improve /report to make it more reliable.

/onlinestaff or /os This command would tell the player if any staff of helper or moderator variety is online that could assist you and how many are on. That way you know if you should just record and report or do /report.

What do you think? Tell me how you feel about /report currently and what else I can add or take away from this suggestion! <3

Nope, I can already foresee players tagging staff on discord insisting for them to check their /report, which I would guess could be really annoying. The command is slowly going to become more effective as the staff team grows, so I don’t find this necessary.

I think it would help save many reports that receive the verdict "Could not verify" because the player has disconnected. So count with my vote (+1).

But to save the privacy of staff members, it is preferable not to put the name, only the number of members that are online (of moderators and helpers) since many people could bother the staff with the invitations, discord messages etc

What if a staff member just wants to play some games instead of doing /reports all the time? A player would execute the /onlinestaff command and see that this certain staff member is online, thinking that they're ignoring the /report. This is just a small example, I wouldn't want to see this.

Hence my idea of putting only the number of staff members online. This will avoid reproaches for not having reviewed reports, it is for the player to get an idea of whether to use the /report or use the web

Still, I'm sure many people will come to us and claim their report was ignored because there were 3 staff members online and the rule-breaker didn't get banned, when maybe they were AFK or working on something. This command would give everyone a great opportunity to complain about staff members being inactive & not caring about the server.
If you see a rule-breaker, just use /report and hope it will be dealt with. You can always record them, and report them if they don't get banned

Maybe this could be something that staff would toggle on/off? That way, staff would still be able to hide the fact that they are online when they just want to chill on the network.
would be a fix for most of the responses here but...
So many people will think that the command is bugged when they execute it, see that no-one is online but there is a moderator who disabled it in their lobby

- Recording and reporting on the page would be the best.
- The report command works and sometimes it takes time, since you are not the only one using the command.
- In any case, I do not believe that this command is implemented, because the staff sometimes wants to play, for something there is also a page to report.

Staff members are also people, they deserve the right to have privacy if they feel like it. There are hundreds - if not, thousands of reports created daily, which will make it hard for the staff member to manage.

As an alternative, consider using the reports website. In my opinion way more convenient and quicker. This is going to be a no for me..!

it could be that the staff warns that he is connected and could put / turnonstaff or something like that. I don't know which side I am on but sometimes I don't like to use reports and they don't see them, because as those who don't have more know, we have limited reports, anyway it's true that sometimes the staff just wants play. I don't know my final decision

I was walking down the street tonight, NO COSTUME, just me, my green sweater, and my brown dog. And someone gasps and says "Yooo it's Shaggy and Scooby Doo!" wild.
We used rainbow jelly… turns out it works on players too. 🌈
