This is more of a general rant toward stuff I hate. Let's begin lol:
"It's a strategy"
This needs to stop. Lately, when it comes to eggwars two strategies have been the hot topic lately: mid camping and skybasing.
One provides a minor or moderate nuisance and somewhat slows down the game. One escalates to an unbeatable strategy in under 2 minutes. One has a kill rate over 80%, the other under 25%. One is considered illegitimate, one is.
But guess what? Despite all the evidence overwhelmingly proving mid camping is extremely hard to beat, some people on these forums continue to think that it's as easy as "rushing mid and bringing 5 diamonds back"
It's not.
Let's explain why it isn't:
1. This only works in normal mode. This doesn't work in OP because the mid campers can still out gear you quite significantly
2. This assumes you're first to mid AND can beat out any possible mid campers.
- 95% of eggwars players can't do this, they don't have enough PvP skill to beat those very skilled block method mid campers
- So many things could screw this up LIKE:
And also, why would you risk going to mid naked for the 1% chance there is a mid camper and risk the 20x more likely scenario that a rusher is using mid as their hub? Just wondering
Well I had to do that but let's get back to the original point: skybasing
Comparing skybase kill rates to mid camper kill rates:
Hardcore / N.H.: 70% vs 67%
Other Normal: 95% vs 25%
OP: 90% vs 10%
Sure, if you play hardcore (or 1.8 because the fundamentals are closer to hardcore) there's no big difference. But I know most of you don't.
So, in my honest opinion skybasing should be allowed with a lower build limit and mid camping should be nerfed as i've said a million times
Part 2:
"omg this idea is not original -1"
Besides the removed hourglass arcade game and layer spleef, name one Cube game that's actually original. Come on helper wannabes.
Seriously, stop with this excuse (not a reason) not to add something. If something is beneficial to the game, add it, It's not rocket science people.
There are a lot of games that people claim aren't original but don't have a 1.9 version (DON'T DO BARE BONES GAMES CUBE, THEY PLAY BETTER IN 1.8)
Part 3: The Eggwars Board
So many people have complained about how hard it is to get certain games running. Here's an easy way to fix this:
Board is pretty self explanatory - locked normal would be a normal items normal health game regardless of how many ranks join. Queue would give obsidian ranks the ability to queue a map with a cooldown of 30 minutes. They must be in a lobby.
You people are wondering why I included 8 and 15 player maps. On to the next part:

- You get rushed
- Speed bridge mess up
- Team trollers
- Misclicking in the shop
