I love 1.9. PvP is changed in way better, it needed improvement. But I realized that loads people, without a proof of why and how, say that 1.9 "slows down PvP". Just look at the comments in the new maps trailer video of Lucky Islands. Everyone is like "1.8 plzzz!!!1111!!".

Again, 1.9 is a change and I understand people not liking changes, BUT I can't handle all those people saying PvP is slowed down. Don't know if you noticed, The cooldown for swords is the same as the mob damage cooldown (when they become red when you hit one). This means, even if you spammed, The kill time would have been the same.

I can't change people's opinions. But when it becomes spam in form of threads, comments or any other type of public content it's just unacceptable.

Well, as Skywars and PvP already have 1.8 modes, I think 1.8 mode should be extended to Lucky Islands, Money Walls, and Survival Games.

I hate to do this. I hate people who want 1.8 back.
I hate spam-clicking.
But if this is what people want, this is what people will have.

But it's up to you know, yes you beautiful person, to decide whether to just have the 1.9 mechanics, or add additional 1.8 modes.
Adding 1.8 modes will mean people will not adapt to 1.9
Leaving only 1.9 means people will keep on with post spam
But will probably make some people accept the new update.

- Cubecraft will never go back to 1.8
- Cubecraft would of needed to update at some point
- Cubecraft has tried to offer 1.8 version of pvp games such as EggWars and SkyWars
- Cubecraft could be making more pvp games to be 1.8
- You're going to need to just live with it, I'm not trying to sound rude.

Because this is the 2000th thread about 1.9 pvp and the server not being 1.8, can this be locked? @DontYouDare

Maybe it's only worth with the most requested games, because as Camezonda said, there is no way CubeCraft Games will come back to 1.8.

I totally understand players that want 1.8 PvP back. That's why we've added 1.8 classic PvP mode , to please both 1.8 and 1.9 players without taking the risk of not staying up-to-date. Everyone has different opinions so I would recommend you to just accept the opinion of others as the same way you want people to accept yours :).

Even though the point of this whole post was that people spam their opinion instead of giving proof. I know how some people don't like 1.9 PvP. I accept that. But when it becomes spam in chats, or in videos comments it's just too much.
