The Land Of Pigs
Hello everyone!

My Suggestion:

My suggestion is to either add Bedrock reports to the reports website (which is what I prefer) or alternatively add Java reports to the forums.

Why Would This Be Useful?

At the moment, the Java reports are on the reports website, but the Bedrock reports are on the forums.
This isn't very useful. If you want to report on Java, you need a reports account, and not a forums account. If you want to report on Bedrock, however, you need a forums account, and not a reports account.
Like this, if you want to report on both networks, you need 2 accounts, instead of 1. It seems better to make one place where you can report, so you don't need 2 accounts for it.
Also, some people might not want a forums account for some reason, but still need to make one to report.
I personally prefer the reports website, because it's just a bit easier and, as mentioned before, some people might not want a forums account, because of privacy, or other reasons.

I hope that you agree with me, and if not, please don't just vote no, but also explain. Thanks! :D

I'm not sure why Bedrock reports currently go via the forums instead of the reports website, but I think there is a technical reason behind it. Maybe something with linking your minecraft account to the reports site. However, I absolutely disagree with making the Java reports go via the forums. The way the Java reportssite currently works is very good in my eyes. Everything works good and reports are easy to submit. Setting up an account is a bit hard for some people, but there are some helpful threads already to help with that. Doing report via the forums is just unpractical, so why switch to that when there already is a working system?
I understand your point that it's unpractical that both networks work with a different system, but is it actually? Both networks are different and most players only play on one of the two. It also isn't a big problem for the mods handling the reports, as they also mainly focus on one of the two networks and they will be handling reports from one network at a time. So they also don't need to switch between the forums and the reports site while handling report. For the few players that do play on both Java and Bedrock it might be a bit annoying to submit bedrock reports on the forums, butI don't think it's really a big deal.
Also I don't see any privacy issues in creating a forums account. You don't need to show anything from yourself, except for giving Cubecraft your email adress but it's in safe hands. You could even hide your age/gender/etc. in case you don't want to share those. So making a forums account should be no problem for most people either.

I think we'd all want bedrock reports to go via the reportssite, but as I said I think that's currently technically not possible. Also if I'm correct Cubecraft currently has no web developer, which might be an issue as well. Hopefully in the future this could be solved so Bedrock players can submit reports via the awesome site as well!

I made this thread this morning :) https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/java-bedrock-reports.270616/

I still think that doing both on the reports site would be easier. Even if it only was for the players that play on both.

As you say it wouldn't be a problem for most people, but the people it is a problem for also exist and might want to report. I never said it would be a problem for a lot of people.

Thanks for your feedback :)

Here are some extra things I've just thought of :)

Some mods do both networks though (correct me if I'm wrong) and for them it would also be easier to have both networks on one place so they don't have to switch every time. For information, my suggestion would be to have something similar to the appeals site where you can choose Java or Bedrock.
I'm not sure why Bedrock reports currently go via the forums instead of the reports website, but I think there is a technical reason behind it.
Now that I think of the appeals site, if it's possible to do Java and Bedrock on the appeals site, it seems to me that it should be possible for reports as well.

Yes, but what I meant is that they won't be handling Java and Bedrock reports at the same time. Of course it would be practical if both were on the same site, but as I said I don't think that's currently possible also given that there's no web developer to fix it.

I don't think it is, because for the reports site you need to register an account which is connected to your minecraft account. I think the reason why Bedrock players currently can't report via the site is because it's not possible yet to connect your Bedrock account to the reportssite. For the appealsite you don't need to create an account, you just have to give your username and the corresponding appeal code.
