Java Labymod being able to report ( website )

I know you can't report using labymod cause you get the ability to change players name, which can be used to false ban people. But every time a player you changed the name on ( changed tag on ) the text and nametag will always show a yellow pen

after the nametag or text, which means that something is changed within the text.
The reason I want to allow reporting with LabyMod is that I often see campers and hackers which I want to record and submit while still using LabyMod as it increases my FPS in-game. I'm also thinking about the people without a rank which aren't able to report with /report at all which may wanna use LabyMod for similar purposes.

As said below there are of course ways to remove the pens but I did find this video which somehow lets you change whole messages: *video removed* I'm not trying to say this is being used or so and totally agree there is cons about letting this be allowed too.

this is very easy to edit this away on an edit program so that is why it is not accepted
So I don't agree ;c

I do a lot of reports and I have to use optfine because labymod not allowed in reports And they certainly know the yellow pen. There can be a way to delete the yellow pen.

Reports with labymod certainly should not be accepted as evidence can be changed to make someone seem like they’re hacking when they’re not etc. It has been abused in the past.

I've had a few of my bannes get denied because I use labymod. Like some people said it's easy to edit out if you know the basics of editing. you can't always see the yellow pen next to the name if you're recording a hacker from the distance.

Yes in the newer version of LabyMod you can see whenever you changed someone’s name with the pen but in older versions this pen is not visible, since you can’t check what version players are using on the video, it’s not allowed.

About the video you attached, that won’t work chat needs to be open for the report to be even considered. So thats that.

I can see why you think that, but let players choose what client/mod they use. LabyMod has things that Badlion doesn’t and that may just be the things the players are looking for. And in the end, forge is the most superior client, they don’t invade your privacy :p (That’s a joke, there isn’t really a best client)

In my opinion, reports with LabyMod should never be allowed. I'll give you some reasons why.

By getting rid of the specific unicode for the pencil, you're actually able to get rid of it entirely. Meaning the pencil will not show up anywhere. Or you can just edit the pencil out with a program such as Photoshop. Furthermore, you can also use specific modifications and editing programs to edit the evidence further. This'd mean you're able to fully change the evidence up to your likings, especially with LabyMod.

I'm fairly sure I don't need to give any other reasons since these are the main issues with LabyMod and why reports with it are not accepted, and never will be.

Your chat must be open in order for the report to be accepted. LabyMod, for instance, can be recognizable with the chat open, since it has the little icons (Name history, etc.) in the bottom right corner when the chat is open.

I'm sorry, but we will not accept reports with LabyMod. If you would like to report people, you could use similar clients to LabyMod such as 5zig, CubeClient (Under development), Badlion Client or any other client alike. They may not be as LabyMod entirely, which is a good reason to use LabyMod and no other client(s), but they sure are good alternatives. I personally prefer 5zig + OptiFine together with Forge, but in the end, it's completely up to you.

Labymod reports MUST NEVER be accepted. Limme say why :

= First, anyone can use the pen to change the name and fake the evidence.
= Second, you can use /voicemute name command to mute anyone who swears.
= Third, labymod is a private entity, so if we got a problem with someone because of labymod, they would not help us to solve it.
= Fourth, if we focused on labymod reports, we will ignore normal reports and we don't wanna this to be done. Also, there are a lot of guys that make problems in labymod like swearing, so we won't be able to control them.
= Finally, there are many alternatives like 5zig or badlion client.

In my point of view, I suggest you to play with 1.15 optifine. Better PvP, better FPS & and pure.
