I’ve been a Minecrafter for like… what, a year or so? And well… it has been an adventure…
here’s the whole story.
Everyday when I get up from bed or come back home from school or smth like that, I would see myself picking up a Rubik’s cube and do speedcubing more often than turning on my laptop for some Minecraft, cubecraft or otherwise. I feel like ever since I started playing MC again after taking a four year or so long break, I didn’t speedcube as often. But now I see my main hobby (speedcubing) slowly becoming my dominant past-time rather than gaming. I dunno… it just defines me more than gaming. Over time I didn’t really feel like MC is giving me the same joy as I had when I played MCPE in like… 2012 or smth…
no one pressured me to ditch MC, i just slowly drifted away from it…
anyways… what will happen from then on out?
well… I’m not gonna go anywhere in the forums, although I’m not going to be as active as I was when I first started replaying MC, I’ll still stick around; just because I’m no longer a cubecrafter doesn’t mean that I can’t be here, after all there are some nice people in here.
for my YT, i’ve started a new chapter on my channel, moving from MC content and posting Speedcubing content. I’ve privated all of my videos and started posting speedcubing content in my channel. as of this post my channel has 86 subscribers.
back to cubecraft, I’ll be keeping my moderator position in @The CubeCraft Times discord server. As I said earlier, just because I’m no longer a cubecrafter doesn’t mean that I can’t be in the community, and also I want to contribute in some way to the discord, cubecrafter or not.
so ja, i’m no longer in the Minecraft community or the CCG community anymore, but I didn’t leave without making friends that will stick with me beyond MC like Greggey, Eef, and others that I can’t think of on the top of my head. So to cubecraft, thanks.
