Ohai!

Okay, before anyone tells me that the vanity update just released and I shouldn't complain about it, let me make it clear that I love the vanity update. But there's one certain thing me and a lot of other people are hating. Which is as the title shows: The lightning gadget.

So we've all heard the thunder in the lobbies which is really annoying, and I know a lot of people will tell me to just put that vertain sound off in the music and sound settings. But if you're a hardcore suvival games player for example you really need that sound (and all of you know why), which would mean you'd have to turn it on and off which is really frustrating. So remiving it could be an option, but my favorite option is to replace it with something else, (There might be a chance that removing the sound is an option too, but then the thunder gadget would be kind a worthless) here's my personal idea for that:

1. Name: Black hole
2. Ability: It summons a black whole which teleports you to a random place in that lobby
3. Cooldown: 35 seconds
4. Icon: Black wool
5. How to own it: Catch 25 fishes (doesn't matter what star) in the main lobby & Get at least 10 relic hunting items.

About the 5th one, it would make more players actually play those lobby games and they'd be appreciated a lot more.

It would be to easy to obtain, giving it a specific rank like obsidian will solve it. Let's be honest most of the gadgets have a own rank even the emerald one.. There is actually nothing that obsidian has more than emerald.. Oh yea we have a voting option in a dead game, nice! We need a new vanity update with more obsidian things.

It would be to easy to obtain, giving it a specific rank like obsidian will solve it. Let's be honest most of the gadgets have a own rank even the emerald one.. Then just make it a simple one like the one from the easter hunt in 2016. Like a black hole which teleports you everywhere will make the hunts too easy for everyone.

If it's randomly it wouldn't happen that often due to the 35 second cooldown, and there's no guaranteed chance you're always finding an egg or other event items. Could add more cooldown if that'd help. But I don't think it would get used for finding those items a lot.

That's basically what I suggested, I just made the example of a black hole.

I highly disagree with modifying or removing the Lightning Gadget. You can easily turn off the sound for it in the options menu, and you can just re-enable that particular sound setting when you want to play games such as Survival Games. I recommend doing so if you're annoyed by the sound effect. I don't really see any harm with this gadget. Sure, it can be annoying if consistently activated, but it's also really fun to use. I love using this gadget in the lobbies. I do like the concept of the gadget you have suggested, though.

Yeah well when you're playing on other servers you need that lightning sound as well. And it's really annoying if you have to turn it on and off again and again because of one single gadget..

Sure, it can be annoying if consistently activated, but it's also really fun to use.

And that's the reason I would love to see this gadget gets edited =3 It's sometimes fun to use yeah but would you rather think about yourself to have fun or think about others who got really annoyed by it?

I do like the concept of the gadget you have suggested, though.
