I notice in some YouTube videos and for a few days on my own account, I had night vision after I got the fire wand. However, I don’t have night vision anymore. Is there a way to get it back?

Maybe you talk to the dragon at the end of the parcour. This because you get the night vision after you talk to him (and got the fire wand). You can try this (:
