So, currently whenever hardcore is voted about half the people leave and people believe it slows down the pace of the game. Well, let's fix this.

Things I like about hardcore:
- Golden apple chugging is ineffective
- Despite claims saying that hardcore is very slow, it's actually only a little bit slower than normal on small maps and is actually the quickest way to go on large maps. It beats out OP by a lot on both.
- Although it's not a perfect concept, I favor having no natural health regeneration. More on this later when I come up with revamps.
- Arrows are expensive and bows are somewhat weak
- More expensive chain and iron armor price
- More expensive weapons allows a pickaxe to work as a surprise weapon
- No Notch Apples, meaning there is no incentive for campers
- All strategies are somewhat balanced
- Mid camping is ineffective

That being said, hardcore is obviously not perfect. Some things I don't like:
- Expensive food
- Expensive blocks
- Leather armor price
- TnT Price

So, with that out of the way, let's fix it. The two most common complaints are usually the expensive block price and the no natural regeneration. Let's be honest. Nobody plays hardcore for expensive blocks, let's just make them all normal price. Now for everything that would change:

1 Iron = 2 Stained Clay
1 Iron = 1 Glass
5 Iron = 1 Hay
12 Gold = 1 Obsidian
5 Iron = 2 Ice
20 Iron = Wood Sword
36 Iron = Wood Axe
10 Gold = Stone Sword
20 Gold = Stone Axe
10 Diamonds = Iron Sword
16 Diamonds = Iron Axe
1 Iron = 1 Carrot
8 Iron = 1 Steak
28 Iron = 1 Cake
8 Gold = 1 Golden Apple
12 Iron / Leather Piece
30 Gold / Chain Piece
20 Diamonds / Iron Piece
15 Diamonds = Bow
5 Gold = 4 Arrows
15 Iron = Stone Pickaxe
5 Gold = Iron Pickaxe
15 Gold = Diamond Pickaxe
24 Diamonds = Efficiency III Diamond Pickaxe
8 Gold = TNT
8 Gold = Chest
10 Diamonds = Compass
112 Diamonds = Ender Pearl

- Breaking an egg will give you the egg so you can buy health potions.
- Generally meant to be the best mode for rushers. Will allow other modes to become different playstyles

No this is to easy... This is a slightly nerfed version or normal mode. I'm strickly against this!

And add Hardcore Half.
Great suggestion.

I will littearly quit if that is added because of the dang gold ranked hackers bying cracked alts on e-bay for a penny

I agree with everything except the armor and the general changes which can be pretty op. Someone could easily take out a theam without an egg with those healing effects. I kinda like how armor is hard to get. @Emmy @KitKatkels17 you might be interested in this.
Edit: also a power 1 bow shouldn't be in hardcore period. It would be way too powerful

No... Hardcore is supposed to be tough and really challenging... This is a slightly lower version of normal... So its not even hardcore.
Egg Wars has had some contreversal updates 2-3 to be exact and this wont give much support to whats gone down.

Making food affordable isnt making hardcire worse , its making it better.

Rn hardcore is like Germany after WW1. Nothing is affordable.

I don't like the cost of food in all gamemodes but OP (the reason why I prefer playing OP over the others).
In both Normal and Hardcore you have to save up way too much iron to either get enough steak for you to at least get you to mid and/or a couple of fights. You can also go with carrots but their saturation is less high than that from steak so even when carrots will heal more drumsticks, you'll still need a lot more than 2.2/3 times as much as steak you need. (Carrots heal 1.5 and steak heals 4, hence, steak heals 2.2/3 times more).

This slows the games down so much and means that you will either go to others without enough food or you'll get late to the party.

This almost forces people to rush to other islands so they can claim the generators on that island. I think this is why rushing is so much more poplar in normal (don't know about hardcore) than it is in OP.

People rush becuase games get over faster.
I know but do we really want the games to only exist out of people quickly bridge over and kill off the team's housing on it?
That doesn't really feel like eggwars to me.
I want to see people taking their time to gear up before attacking, and people bridging to mid early to get some good gear and take mid afterwards again, so they can start killing off people. All those different strategies... I tend to see them more in OP.

i agree on all of this! it would be much more challenging because everyone would mostly have leather so itd be equally geared most of the time just in HC

Edits:
- Removed Power I Bow
- Upped the steak price back to 8 (I forgot food is useless in hardcore so having it as 6 would make it cheaper than normal)
- Removed effects for final kills, you will get the egg itself as an "Egg Reward" like suggested before and can be used for healing pots just for a BIT of health back (eliminating the need to self destruct)
- Changed the leather armor price to 12, it's in the middle of the suggested 16 and the current 80.
- Chain and iron armor brought back to original price.

OP is supposed to be really OP then, according to your logic, right? Yet everyone seemed to overwhelmingly support nerfing the armor.
That and you seem to really be some of the only opposition to this suggestion. The reason the past updates have drawn up such controversy is because bar the map additions (which look great and are much needed), Cubecraft has never really delivered what it's base has been screaming for.
For example, Emerald Generators and the disgusting and stupid KB mushroom.

New predictions based on the news we got this week:
- New Snowman Survival maps are most likely releasing sometime next week
- OG EggWars update is releasing in a couple of weeks according to Cam through Discord (screenshot below).
A couple of weeks is usually 2 weeks but sometimes can be 3 weeks.
