@CommunistCactus I personally never swear, so I can easily see both sides of this issue. I hate it when people swear in the public chat, because it forces all the players to read it. It is disrespectful to all players, because they can't control the fact that they are seeing it.

They don't have to see it, and not all swearing is disrespectful to everyone that sees/hears it. In fact that's rarely the case. Some swearing is disrespectful to sbsolutely no one, even if millions of ppl see/hear it.

Make a chatfilter in party chat toggleable and have the default on ON. Also remove the rule making it punishable to swear in general, for example "Shit I died". (so targeted chat offense like "<> you" still counts, don't worry I'm not an anarchist).

I still agree that the players should have the freedom to choose what they can/can't say in their own private parties. Public chat, though, needs to be kept clean.

Updates are amazing. At least in my opinion. My problem with bedrock and PE are the world generation and controls , M4rkOtPl4€3 , Their pathetic skin packs and paid resourcepacks

If they don`t, then its their own fault for ruining the game and making it become more dead every year.

Minecraft isn’t dying. Just because you dont enjoy it as much or some random people who have no clue what they’re talking about on youtube say so , doesnt mean its dying. Every game has a period when people keep buying it , as soon as everyone is done buying it , its growth doesnt increase drastically. This doesnt mean its dying neither does it mean its past its prime.


Older fans who are in their 20`s no longer support minecraft anymore, because mojang doesn`t care.

Where did you come up with this theory? Yes , as people grow older they do feel disconnected from the game , hence all the minecraft is dying videos.

A lot of okder people still support minecarft though. Justbecause the PvP community is divided does not mean thegame is dying.

And thats the way it should be, private or party chats you can just leave or ignore, public you cant do much about

Alright suggestion is: Change pchat text to another color or make it customizable for the love of everyone please. Party chat is meant to be extra distinguishable from normal chat. With everything being yellow that doesn't work. Just add a command called /p chatcolor <color>

this is a must, tags dont do the trick

Also to add on to your rant, they claim to listen however one of them said less than 3% of all suggestions get added, while that is understandable in the case they cant do everything, many players have good suggestions that either arent added or twisted, for example a suggestion I made that got added was half health, i suggested it as an alternative to triple health as almost everyone hated how tedious eggwars was especially with op mode instead they added it as another option, they only half listened

Ive seen suggestions get heavy positivity to such as my thread on fixing control point, they also dont listen to minecrafts community itself, bringing uhc back was a failure as its a dead gamemode, its all about Skyblock these days

Ive seen and played games or servers that are built on the community, this isnt one of them, you can clearly see that with the negative feedback starting to grow on map updates, we want features or games not maps, im sorry to staff for seeing this post, but thats just the way it is, the updates are becoming extremely stale because we get the same or modified things every time

Again, Private should be unrestricted. Public needs to stay the same please.

What do you expect? They aren't going to change it, it was Joe Coles idea for the chat filter to be like this and he has said that they won't be changing anything anytime soon, and also you expect this management to listen? Hah, you're pathetic.

Let's not start criticizing the management. It is their server, and they can choose to do what they wish with it. It is disrespectful and unfair to them. However, I do agree that they don't seem to be listening that much, and that all their choices haven't been the best. Lets just try to keep it on a less negative note.

If they didn't censor ANYTHING, then there would be a massive issue with people swearing all they want. The staff would be overrun with reports, and the server would be riddled with swearing players and overall turmoil. A chat filter is required to some extent. Although I agree that they have taken it a bit too far.

I think they are slowly starting to realize this. (Hopefully) If you think about it, most of their games/updates have failed.

TowerDef. update: No one plays it anymore.

Island games: No one plays it.

Never liked td, so I can't tell.
Personally I kinda like the new Arcade, but there's no quake, so it's still not rly good.
Imho they shouldn't have even made island games, kinda useless if you can't even make the games you got good.

There has been something in the works... Something quite similiar. More like a parody i guess though. I'm sure @CommunistCactus would be down to share it here once we've finished it (expect it to drop somewhere around Christmas).
