A lot of the games start to get repetitive after a while. Even if there's different maps, different players, different kits, it almost always progresses the same way.

Cubecraft needs to add something to make the games less repetitive. I'm starting to get bored of winning like 7 out of 10 games of eggwars, and I want something to give it some extra challenge.
The same goes for skywars (besides the awful, awful loot pool)
I can list plenty of reasons why games can get boring overtime, but then this would be an even larger wall of text than it already is.

There IS indeed a way to make games less repetitive. I've come up (Probably not the first) with a perfect system to add some spice back into the games, just like it was when we first played them.
Cubecraft needs side-objectives.
Now, I'm not talking about objectives like achievements or daily challenges, but unique missions in each game, to give you some extra challenge & reward you for it.
This can fit into any gamemode and I'm going to list some possibilities:

-Kill 10 players this game! (team)
-Break 100 blocks! (team + solo)
-Kill 5 players! (solo)
-Kill a person with a snowball! (team + solo)
-Craft 10 items! (team + solo)

-Win in 8 minutes! (solo)
-Win in 12 minutes! (team)

-Place 200 blocks! (team + solo)
-Win without a helmet! (team + solo, can also be used for every other armor piece)
-Win without enchanting! (team + solo)

-Win without a kit! (team + solo, only works for kits & abilities mode)
-Eat a maximum of 8 food items! (team + solo)
-Blow someone up! (team + solo, kills can be recognized by who placed the tnt)
-Kill someone while being on fire! (team + solo)
-Break 6 eggs! (solo)
-Break 3 eggs! (team)

-Only shop 12 times! (team + solo)
-Upgrade every generator on your island to max level! (team + solo)
-Eliminate 5 players! (solo)
-Eliminate 10 players! (team)
-Spend X amount of [...] tokens! (team + solo)

-Win without diamonds! (team + solo)
-Place 500 blocks! (team)
-Place 300 blocks! (solo)
-Buy every single item in X category! (team + solo)
-Use 10 TNT! (team + solo)

-Win without protecting for your egg! (team + solo, counts in a 2 block radius from the egg)
-Win without a helmet! (team + solo, can also be used for every other armor piece)
-Win with axes as your only weapon! (team + solo, can count for swords too)
-Win without placing any sandstone! (team + solo)
-Kill off an entire team! (team)

-Win without using wolves! (Beast tamer kit & trapper kit)
-Win without using any soup! (soup kits)
-Win without using a bow! (for kits that provide a bow AND a melee weapon)
-Spleef someone! (For kits that provide a way to break blocks of the map)


The reason for me not having Assassins or FFA, is because those games are pretty much endless. And since duels are just one fight, you can only do one of the challenges.


Now. You may be wondering what the red & green colors mean:
RED means OBJECTIVE
GREEN means SIDE-OBJECTIVE

OBJECTIVES are preset by a game, and can be done for a larger bonus. these are randomly chosen each game, and you can only do that specific one.

Example:
In Skywars it chooses "-Kill 10 players this game! (team)" as the OBJECTIVE. This means that that's hte only OBJECTIVE you can do in the game.

SIDE-OBJECTIVES are challenges, where you can only do a maximum of 3 per game and they are NOT preset.

Important: Not everyone has the same objectives. they differ per person.

Important: The objective is listed in chat as soon as the game starts.

Onto the purpose of doing these challenges:
These challenges will give you small amounts of points, XP and Cubelets.
The prizes for OBJECTIVES are:
10-50 points (depending on the gamemode, duels would have the minimum prize by default
25-100 XP (depending on the gamemode, duels would have the minimum prize by default)
1-2 cubelets (doesn't count for duels)

The prizes for SIDE-OBJECTIVES are:

5-30 points
5-80 XP
10% for a cubelet
(None of these are effected by gamemode)

The preset OBJECTIVE is listed in chat as soon as the game starts.

Summary:
I want to have gamemodes be less repetitive, and I want to do that by adding goals other than winning.

In addition to what I said earlier, this will also spice up the game because of the opponents trying to do their challenge
I've probably spent about 2 and a half hours putting this together, so READ THROUGH THE THREAD before commenting.

This would make the games much more interesting but the problem you are trying to fix would just occur again after you finish them all am I wrong? But great idea! You might want to dial down on the rewards.

Also for Red what does have to mean
does it mean we have to to do green or we are banned if we don't or what?

I've edited to make it clearer:
The OBJECTIVES are chosen at random at the start of a game & it's listed in chat. You can only do 1 OBJECTIVE per game, and that one is chosen at random.

In skywars, they have an absolutely horrible loot pool in my opinion. This loot pool brings quite some variety in the game, but not the GOOD type of variety.

so this is basically a version of achievements/daily challenges that differ for each person & have slightly edited criteria
You could see it like that, but each game as a PRESET OBJECTIVE that you can complete for extra points & xp. This would influence the way players can play, and change the way the game can go by a lot. Every player has their own PRESET OBJECTIVE, so you can never know what you're in for.
P.S. what is purple then?

Purple is an exception, since it works in combination with another challenge. But I've edited it to just be 1 challenge.

That's something you'd expect to see in a daily challenge.
The challenges I'm suggesting, are something you need to be able to accomplish in ONE match. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

I understand what you mean, but these are meant to spice up each individual game.
They can be re-done each game.
The OBJECTIVES are preset at the begin of the game, so you can't choose which one you want to do,
and the SIDE-OBJECTIVES are the ones you can choose. But you can only complete 3 SIDE OBJECTIVES per match.

i love this idea it would make the games more interesting and fun and would sure bring out some players and most likely bring down the Camping percentage i would think

Extra reason for this to be added:
Since this will reduce how repetitive games can be, players will start to play their preferred game a lot more. This means that the total play time can increase by a pretty big amount & increase popularity faster!

Yeah for a full blown update like this to happen it'd require a lot of time. It might end up just being a better idea to add new content/fix broken content to keep interest rates up. Obviously not everyone is going to enjoy the same game over and over again and it'll probably be better for the longevity of the server to not "fix what isn't broken" unless there comes a time for it. Although it would definitely be cool if it could be implemented.
