So recently, I got very interested in watching videos related to the unknown universe: all kinds of theories and mindblowing discoveries

In one of the hundreds of videos I watched, one video was talking about the colonization of the solar system
What if this is actually our goal?

We will go extinct probably within the next one billion years

What if the whole universe is some kind of game and we are supposed to colonize our solar system and eventually the entire universe

hGrKYoC.jpg

Within the next 1.5 billion years, the habitable zone will move outwards. The surface temperature of Mars during these times will resemble the Earth during the last ice age: warm enough to support life

Keep in mind that the observable universe is 94.605.284.000.000.000.000.000 km in width (ninety-four sextillion, six hundred five quintillion, two hundred eighty-four quadrillion)
The actual universe that we are supposed to colonize is 150 sextillion times bigger than the observable universe. This means the entire universe is 946.052.840.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 km in width (nine hundred forty-six octodecillion, fifty-two septendecillion, eight hundred forty sexdecillion)

If we were to travel that incredible distance at the speed of light, it would still take 315.350.947.000.000.000.000.000 seconds (three hundred fifteen sextillion, three hundred fifty quintillion, nine hundred forty-seven quadrillion), or 9.999.712.930.000.000 years (nine quadrillion, nine hundred ninety-nine trillion, seven hundred twelve billion, nine hundred thirty million)

Funnily enough though, the universe will literally die in 10.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 years (one googol years).
Light could travel the distance mentioned above
1.000.028.700.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 times (one duovigintillion, twenty-eight vigintillion, seven hundred novemdecillion).

We got plenty of time to colonize, what are we waiting for?!

I hope you've enjoyed reading these mind blowing facts and calculations!

Theories

1 - There exist more universes, a few hundreds, thousands or even a few quadrillions

The big bang was more like a 'big bounce'
Our universe is only one of the hundreds, thousands, millions or even quadrillions ones out there, all just floating in some kind of weird dimension. As you probably know, the universe(s) expand(s). And so someone proposed that whenever 2 universes collide, there's a 'big bang' and a new universe is born

2 - There were more universes before ours

Our universe was born because of the big bang, the big bang being was caused by an absurdly small particle. Before the big bang, there was nothing (as far as we know). Some people suggest that before our universe, there were more, and each time when a universe dies, it collapses and turns into a black hole. Black holes are one of the most weird things out there, so let me just keep it simple. Black holes evaporate due to hawking radiation, so people think that the black hole eventually evaporated and left that small, small particle.

But.. What caused the first universe in the series to be there, you may be wondering. The most accurate answer for this would be: that universe was just always there, but we, as a human being, cannot accept or believe that.

Extra Information

This means the entire universe is 946.052.840.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 km in width (nine hundred forty-six octodecillion, fifty-two septendecillion, eight hundred forty sexdecillion)
We could place 946.052.840.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 grains of sand in between the borders of the universe (nine hundred forty-six vigintillion, fifty-two novemdecillion, eight hundred forty octodecillion)
Equal to 135.150.406.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 times the amount of grains of sand on our planet (one hundred thirty-five quattuordecillion, one hundred fifty tredecillion, four hundred six duodecillion)

It would take light nearly ten quadrillion years, in other words

- The biggest star known to man is UY Scuti. Even if you were to fly a plane at a constant 1000km/h speed at its equator, circling it once would still take over 852 years

- The entire universe is 2.857.968.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 km³ (two quintrigintillion eight hundred and fifty-seven quattuortrigintillion nine hundred and sixty-eight tretrigintillion)

We would need 19.006.526.300.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 grains of sand to fill the entire universe(nineteen quinvigintillion six quattuorvigintillion five hundred and twenty-six trevigintillion three hundred duovigintillion)

The distance from one corner of the universe to the opposite corner is 2.457.987.942.037.145.144.790.000.000.000.000.000 km (two undecillion four hundred and fifty-seven decillion nine hundred and eighty-seven nonillion nine hundred and forty-two octillion and thirty-seven septillion one hundred and forty-five sextillion one hundred and forty-four quintillion seven hundred ninety quadrillion)

Light needs an amazing 259.807.620.000.000.000.000.000 years to travel from one corner to the other (two hundred and fifty-nine sextillion eight hundred seven quintillion six hundred twenty quadrillion): 18.826.639.100.000 (eighteen trillion eight hundred and twenty-six billion six hundred and thirty-nine million one hundred thousand) times longer than the entire age of the universe

Astronomy fascinated me so much! Thinking of taking an extra optional-for-funsies class for it just for interest. Interesting facts here :)

(For the people who still live then)
Whether people would still be alive does not have an impact. The sun's temperature will rise, and that would lead to the Earth's temperature rising and so Mars' temperature would rise to temperatures warm enough to support life

Pretty interesting if you try to imagine the ridiculiously enormous scale of the universe, let alone the observable universe. We as humans will never really be able to imagine those scales of distances and time in our minds.

It's interesting, but pretty scary as well if you think too much about it.

Indeed. The most frustrating thing in my opinion however, some places in the universe would remain unknown no matter what, even if we could travel at the speed of light. Some parts of space very far away from Earth are expanding away from us faster than the speed of light, that means the light from these places will never in an infinite amount of time reach us

Suppose the unlikely event we dont destroy our planet, I’d like to see Mars made habitable for plants. Also did you know every 200,000 yeats the North and South pole interchange positions? It causes a lot of ruckus.

I also read a theory about a twin of our sun called Nemesis. Its largely disproven, but nobody’s ruled out the existance of Nemesis when the sun was initially born. You should google that.

Isnt it amazing that when you look at stars, you’re essentially looking into the past since light from those stars take years to reach us?

I hope you've enjoyed reading these mind blowing facts and calculations!

- The entire universe is 846 732 406 008 349 705 546 304 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 km³ (eight hundred and forty-six octoquinquagintillion seven hundred and thirty-two septenquinquagintillion four hundred six sesquinquagintillion eight quinquinquagintillion three hundred and forty-nine quattuorquinquagintillion seven hundred five tresquinquagintillion five hundred and forty-six duoquinquagintillion three hundred four unquinquagintillion)

We could place 574.055.868.480.237 * 10^165 grains of sand in the entire universe. Equal to 574.055.868.480.237.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 grains of sand. A number so big, it cannot even be described in words.
Added a new fact ^-^

oof, how many Earths can fit in the Sun then?
I could just look it up, but I'll also be calculating it for you :D

Earth's radius is 6.731 km, the forumula to calculate the volume of a sphere is 4/3*3.14*r^3

So, V = 4/3*3.14*6.731^3 = 1.083.206.920.000

Then we go our giant sun,

V = 4/3*3.14*695.508^3 = 1.409.272.600.000.000.000

We now divide 1.409.272.600.000.000.000 by 1.083.206.920.000. This equals 1301018.83027, rounding it to 1.301.018. I was even able to give a more accurate answer than google ;)
