More 1.8 pvp gamemodes [Added poll]

So Im know im definitely not the only one with this view but ill say it anyway. 1.8 pvp would definitely benefit cubecraft. Though you may not realize it the 1.8 community is a lot bigger than the 1.9 community. Also another benefit is that there are a lot more mods in 1.8 for pvp.Honestly I stopped playing cubecraft after they updated to 1.9. Just because its a older version doesnt mean it has bugs or glitches or whatever. Yes I agree that 1.9 features are also benefitual but 1.8 just makes more sense at the end of the day.

Cubecraft 1.9 has less hacker than in 1.8, also cubecraft will movr with each new update they only add the two most popular gamemodes to 1.8 that are skywars and egg wars, I dont think they will add anymore gamemode to this version.

Its actually easier to hack in 1.9 because its hard to tell if they are just good at getting hits on time or hacking and most hacks in 1.8 are blatent. Also the top 2 games have what like 200, 300 people at a time. What about the other 9k players? Some games 1.9 doesnt fit it. Like blockwars was much better off in 1.8 pvp as was survival games.

Just go to badlion pls dont ruin cubecraft we need 1.12 blocks in our maps

Im not asking for all the games just more. Badlion is 1.7 (You can join in 1.8 but you stand no chance) and almost everyone sweats. Most of the maps would keep 1.12 blocks.

I dont think anyone would sweat 1.8 cubecraft... Its not like many people sweat 1.8 anyway. Once you get into 1.7 thats when people sweat.

Well badlion is a competitive network, and cube craft isn't. So I don't think people would sweat :L

I play 1.8 cubecraft and it would be nice to add an SG for 1.8 as another pvp mode. But I disagree that 1.8 community is bigger than the 1.9. There are millions of players who want to be up to date and soon servers with 1.8 are going to go away just like the servers in 1.5.2 so people want to be propared for that.

I don't think 1.8 servers are gonna go for a long time, for example: hypixel and mineplex and ultra. And isn't cube craft the biggest 1.9 combat server?

I have absolutely no sympathy for people who are asking Cubecraft to have more 1.8 gamemodes; literally every other large pvp server on the planet uses 1.8. We have to deal with only playing Cubecraft, so I think you can deal with having everything else.

@Luzario Then I'll clarify:

Every pvp game should stay in 1.12 combat because it's better and there is currently no other server offering any 1.12 pvp games. Every pvp game on any server would be more fun in my opinion if they became 1.12 simply due to the fact that no-cooldown combat is not as fun as cooldown combat. But specific gamemodes could also use 1.9+ items to their advantage, as well.

CTF on B**** would be awesome again, TIMV on H*** would have a higher skill cap, I might actually try playing Walls again, etc.

Well since everyone is entitled to their opinion,I personally feel like we should slowly move away from 1.8 since the amount of features that players would miss.But saying only pvp modes should be based on 1.8 is a little biased dont you think?1.9 has a good community of pvpers and players,if it didnt Cubecraft wouldnt be getting the amount of players it has today.Anyway the only thing that most people hate about 1.9+ is the pvp cooldown,but if you look past the cool down there is plenty of new features servers can use such as new blocks and other things.

@MimicPanda people don't like the lack of blockhitting in pvp, either... and I guess some of them complain about kb, even though 1.8 kb was jank. But anyways, people who play MC for pvp aren't going to look beyond the pvp features for things like blocks, mobs, functionalities, cmd blocks/functions, or anything else, because all they care about is fighting other people. In which case I would still contend that 1.9+ pvp is better.

You see turbo kart racers on hypixel? Barely anyone plays it. I'm guessing people want combat, 1.8 combat. What I think is, to keep cube craft alive, we need more 1.8 combat games, the 1.8 combat community is much larger than 1.9 (don't quote me on that, but I think its true). So why not make more 1.8 combat games on 1.8.9, people want PVP. Not slow paced 1.9 pvp. You see on hypixel, most of their games are 1.8 fast paced pvp games. We can keep the 1.9 games and all but to draw in more players, we need 1.8 combat games. Lets be honest here, as @logicalpencils said, cube craft is the only 1.9 combat server with over 50 players. A lot of people want more 1.8 games.
