Hello everyone, as an experienced MinerWare player, I noticed some players don't take the best approach to some microgames, so I decided to make this helpful guide listing some tips I have.
Drop to the Ground - Aim for hay bales as they give reduced fall damage. Avoid cobwebs unless it's one really close to the ground and you have enough time.
Find the Button - If you are the first to find the button, sometimes you can sneak over it to hide it so the other players can't find it. It's really funny when this works!
Keep Moving - Jumping on the spot works, and it's a lot easier than risking falling off due to the high level of speed.
King of the Hill - You can knock players off the platform entirely to ensure they won't be able to participate. It's a bit mean, but only one person can win this game so it increases your chances.
Knight Fight - It's helpful to just avoid PvP, even if you're good at it. Find a corner off to the side somewhere. The swords are powerful and can kill really quickly so try to stay at full health.
Knock Back - A lot of players get confused at how this game works. The amount of knockback you deal depends on the colour of the armour of the last person you hit, NOT your own armour or the person you are currently hitting. So, if you hit a red player, and then a green player, the green player will likely go flying. If you hit a green player, and then a red player, it will probably do nothing. As for winning this, try to stay away from people for as long as you can.
Lava Floor - I recommend shifting between four blocks in the middle, so if one disappears you still have three to stand on. This strategy usually guarantees a win.
Less is Better - This is hard to give tips for because it just depends on luck. Everyone will try to wait until the last second to move, and your own position could make the difference between winning and losing. So just pick a side and stick to it.
Mini Survival Games - Again, avoid PvP for as long as possible. This game can give players diamond swords and axes and you don't start with any armour.
Nerd Pole - You can cover up the chests on the corners with blocks so other players can't pick blocks up. It's a bit mean but it might stop them getting snowballs to throw at you until they reach a different chest.
One in the Chamber - Don't shoot right away, which is probably what everyone else will do. It makes you an easy target since you're just standing still. Avoiding PvP and dodging the arrows is also a good way to win this minigame.
Platform Plummet - Like the lava floor game, try to crouch between four platforms. This way you are less likely to fall without having time to react. Keep in F5 mode so you can easily see where other platforms are in case you need to move.
Shear Sheep - Just hold down the mouse button and run. It's really hard to get all of them otherwise before they are already sheared by other players.
Snowball Fight - Spam snowballs right from when you start, as you will probably get teleported into the middle of the arena. As soon as you can, get behind a pillar and use F5 mode to see where the other players are.
Stack Blocks - You can jump on others' columns if they started after you to stop them from reaching ten. It's a bit mean and it only stops one player from finishing, so don't do it unless it's a player with a high score.
Stand on Colour - Find a right colour in the corner of the map and ignore all other players.
Stand on Diamond - Try to see if there is a diamond platform no one else is going for. If not, wait until the last possible moment to jump for the platform and knock off anyone who's on there.
Swim to Platform - Float just under the water until the timer is almost at 0, then jump up onto the platform. There's a short lag spike most of the time when the game ends, so there will be no time for anyone to hit you off.
TNT Tag - Always stay on the top (parkour) layer, even if you have the TNT. You can jump down on people below if needed. If you stay on the bottom people can just keep running you in circles.
Wait For It - Sometimes the task is to jump seven times but there's not enough time in the game to complete this. So start jumping as soon as the title for this game shows up, it's the only way to win at that task.
Colour Floor - Focus on claiming an area for yourself that no one can get past, then starting to fill it in. Fill it in by splitting it into smaller areas as you go, because if players see a big area of white space they will throw their potions there.
TNT Run - Use controlled jumping. Don't sprint jump the whole time, because it can be hard to stop when you need to. Hover your hand over the space button and also your sprint key, so you can jump when needed and switch between sprinting and walking. Try to stay on the top layer for as long as you can and avoid trying to sabotage other players.
Fly Through Hoops - Go slow and steady. If you go fast you'll gain too much momentum and won't have time to move for each hoop. In between each hoop, shaking your head up or down or side to side can help you slow down. Make sure you don't go too slow as the hoops get smaller the further you go and you need some speed for them.
That's all I have, I hope you find these tips helpful!
