Nerf Op mode in Eggwars

There might be a select few out there that thoroughly enjoy OP mode, but I find it an annoyance that half the time I have to eliminate an opponent by knocking them off an island with a punch I bow. I don't think the mode should be terminated, I just think that there should be a nerf to some select items.

I think that nerfing some of the items in op mode Would be Great. I play op mode so much that it kinda gets annoying with the god apples and the 78 regular golden apples that it is to op. From the weapons to the food to the armor maybe make it a little less op

I agree that it needs nerfing a little bit, but it can't be nerfed too much because one of the main reasons a lot of people like OP mode is because they stay alive much longer during a fight.

I personally can't stand OP and quit whenever it's been selected xD But I still think OP mode should remain with highly OP items, otherwise whats the point of it?

Yes, but not really people get so mad they rage quit, and i've done that before, I personally think it needs tweaking and with super golden apples the fights last forever some people just want short rounds where they can win but the op mode takes forever to end.

Yea, one of the ONLY ways to make an OP match of eggwars "short" is to become the terminator with the "eggshell breaker" kit and go around and destroying other team's eggs immediately after the game starts; But, I don't really like that method because when you are gone the same action could be done to you and your team and I don't like being what I despise, which are super persistent rushers, I'm fine with the people that just rush once and die then leave you alone for a while but the select few who go out of their way to make you deal with them all of the time is a real nuisance.

Even though I don't particularly enjoy OP myself and often vote against it, I respect you anyway if you enjoy the mode.

I kinda like it, as i dont get punished immediatly for missing 2 swings, kill campers easier (e-pearls + eff 8 pick), and win battles easier in which im fighting against 2+ people.
I dont like it, as the games take forever, there are way more campers, and god apples are the most OP thing ever, especially when eating a regular golden one after it...

Leave it be, and report the campers :)

It's called OP for a reason, to be overpowered.
There are 3 ways to kill someone in OP:
-Shooting/knocking them into the void}
-Spleefing them (Most of the time people don't expect that)
-Breaking armour (TnT helps a ton)

But I'm pretty sure that the main reason OP is loved, is because people can stay alive longer during fights & run without dying easily.
Another reason I can think of is the cheap blocks, cheap food, cheap obsidian and ender pearls. These are probably the best aspects of OP and it'd be great if it were its own game mode. (I think that this is what the Speed mode suggestion is about)

I enjoy playing op with normal health when I have lots of time. I don't really think anything should be changed but if you could give some examples of what you want changed that would be nice.

One thing that could be changed is the protection 5 armor, They could potentially move it down to protection 3 or 2 armor.

Maybe drop it all to protect III then have a separate set of diamond armor with protection V?

I made it so the first purchases count as they do now but if people purchase tons of armour the protection starts to drop. This is to decrease the amount of camping in all three eggwars gamemodes.

I kind of agree. I know that this is a lot of work, but I think that we need two more modes, which are a nerfed op, and a nerfed hardcore
