I have been interested for a long time to give CubeCraft the idea of a game mode based on Survival, I think the best idea would be a system of "Plots" customized for CubeCraft, there could be several types of plots, the first being by default. It would consist of 3 types of plots to choose from:

First plot: Basic
Second plot: Advanced
Third plot: Increased

(Names are examples, they can be changed).

All players will be able to play "Basic" plots, but if any player wants to expand / increase the plot, they must play and get points / game money to be able to acquire one of the following, which will not be cheap. (My idea is that the points of SkyWars, EggWars and all the games are used to buy plots, this will make the players change game modes so as not to get bored.
I am going to propose to implement "Kits", "Voting for the climate (by rank)", and also implement an auction house (Created by CubeCraft in its style). You could also implement RPG missions to make the player have tasks to do and progress a level within the game mode and thus be able to unlock more things. Bosses can be created and spawned through in-game events.

The idea would be to create a "commercial city (with shops and missions) and around the players with their houses. Or through separate worlds. To be chosen by the developers.
This game mode is a superficial survival-based idea with some action and this can get a lot of people interested in the new game.

i have to disagree,
survival would not really fit cubecraft and im personally not a fan of the plot idea. your argument about hypixel their skyblock is quite an unfair thing. the skyblock is quite advanced and the server has a way higher amount of players then cubecraft. dont you think Skyblock is basically the same as survival in the way you described it? its still being worked on a lot, you know :)

Currently the games they make on CubeCraft don't have more than 100/200 players each mode (at best) ... That doesn't help.

adding even more gamemodes wont help the fact that cubecraft became smaller over time, it will only cost more money and time. hypixel has always been a big server and works completely different/attracts different type of players then cubecraft.
games like TD which dont reach a lot of players is because of multiple reasons. for example lack of updates, no tutorial, too many trolls, people who are too good at rushing.... but these will be fixed soon or later.
cubecraft also focusses more on improving their gamemodes more and more over time, in stead of making a million different ones and leave them cold after a while, despite being full of bugs and stuff.

like i said cubecraft has too many stupid and absurd games that consume money and server resources, those resources can be put to use in another new innovative game. Hypixel has known how to do things well, and add variety but with a special and different touch, cubecraft has variety but the games are very basic and can quickly change. For that reason Hypixel has that power, what has allowed its Skyblock to be achieved is to achieve a long-term duration of the game and the need to always have the best materials, (similar to farming + RPG + missions and interaction with NPC's in a mandatory way to generate a sequence of missions I have history). Remember this message that I am going to tell you: If cubecraft continues like this, in 2 years there will be nothing left, (when the time comes, you will remember these words). Hopefully cubecraft is # 1 of the servers, I like cubecraft more than hypixel, but I recognize which one has won. Sorry if there is any mistake in my English, I am Spanish.
