So I've just recently gone back to play FFA and I've realized that people team a lot (I do myself too) and it came to my head: Why don't we have Team PvP? This came to my head since I'm in love with factions and PvP in factions is very team based. This will be like the FFA we have now but people are allowed to create their own team with a max team number of 5.

Team PvP has something special with it though... Each server/game will last 30 minutes. This means there also will be a winner. Whenever the game/server has reached its 30 minutes, it will say in chat the winning team (Which will be the team with the most kills). Once it has done that, the server will restart. The winners of the team will each achieve 100 points and 250 experience.

To create and administrate your own team there will be some commands that the 'Leader' of the team would have to do, and some other commands that everyone can do. Here are my ideas for the commands for FFA Teams:

/team create [Name]
Access: Everyone
With this command, you'll be able to create your team with whatever name you put in.

/team disband
Access: Leader of a team
With this command, you'll be able to remove the team you created

/team leader [PlayerName]
Access: Leader of the team
This command is only given to the leader/the person who created the team. Using this command will give the leadership over to whoever [PlayerName] is.

/team rename [Name]
Access: Leader of the team
Only the leader of the team will be able to use this. Using this command, the leader will change the team's name to whatever [Name] is.

/team kills [Name (Optional)]
Access: Everyone
Everyone has access to this command. If you only type /team kills, it will show how many kills your team has. If you do /team kills [Name], you will be able to see how many kills another team has.

/team top
Access: Everyone
Everyone has this command and when you execute it, the server will tell you a list of the top 5 Teams with the most kills.

/team time
Access: Everyone
Everyone has access to this command and it will tell you how much time is left until the 'round' is finished.

/team leave
Access: Everyone
With this command, you'll leave your team. If the Leader of the team does it, he'll have to either disband his team or give leadership to another team member.

/team kick [PlayerName]
Access: Leader of the team
With this command, the leader of the team will be able to kick people from his/her team.

If you are well into factions, much of this should sound familiar to you and hopefully all the PvP Lovers out there will enjoy playing it :)

I would personally love this since my friends and i play team eggwars and survival games. Maybe 30mins is a lot though. :)

If it is too long, then maybe 20 mins, I don't really mind. So long it isn't classified as 'short' :P

Maybe you can add the /team duel [Team Name]
And the /team friendlyduel [Member of your team] You can duel an team member.

Really good idea @HackersDontWin. It sort of has a factions theme to it along with it being 1.9 and of course, the general fun of PvP! I really hope they can get this added as it would be a great addition! :-)
