Not relevant to Duels, but OP KitPvP Kits are very imbalanced:

-Tank kit is beyond defensive. To kill it, you have to exhaust the majority of the Archer's quiver when factoring in the fact that you're going to miss a lot and also have to run away very frequently. There's no point in approaching it with anything but the Swordsman Kit, which still dies faster than the Tank in a 1v1.
(P.S. It's the only kit that's capable of surviving the fall from the top of the helicopter building in 'Classic')
-Swordsman is fine as it is
-Archer dies too quickly, and exhausts its quiver too fast
-Ninja kit is redundant with the Alchemist kit, since the latter also offers Speed II
-Alchemist kit is fine, though _slightly_ longer Poison potion durations would be nice

I contacted somebody about this months ago, and the response wasn't dismissive. Any hope for OP KitPvP kits to be balanced at all?

(P.S. I use Tank, Alchemist, and Archer, and have hundreds of kills with each; this is non-biased)
(Also P.S. For kit balances to work, the corresponding chestplate piece should be placed in players' inventories in 'Wings' maps)

I think the archer and the alchemist kit are both kind of broken, since they are very good for one fight, but almost useless after that. I'd prefer having less initial items but regenerating them over time.

I'm not sure if I can use this thread for a general rant about FFA but anyway...

I really dislike the infinite saturation. Especially in op FFA it means you can just run from a fight without having to stop to eat. After a fight when you are at low health it takes very long to regenerate, so you either have to run a round or hide which is very boring. I think players should loose saturation normally and have to eat food to regenerate and sprint.

You can currently buy items for points which is almost necessary to play with the Alchemist or the Archer for a longer time, but it is completely unbalanced. I once chose the op ninja kit and bought all the armor and some golden apples. It was completely impossible for multiple people to kill me until the armor broke. I think the shop should be completely removed and consumable items should be regenerated during the game.

I also don't like teams that give players a huge advantage over solo players, but I'm not sure if anything can be done about that, completely banning teams doesn't sound great and splitting the player base by adding a separate solo and team mode probably wouldn't work when there are barely ever full normal maps now.

~ I dunno about extra regeneration :/. It does get annoying for you to wait for your health to regenerate. But it's hardly hard to do in OP 1.9. If someone wants a 1v1 they usually hit you once and wait. And people in most FFA just chill (at least from what I have seen in 1.9 FFA, different case for 1.8).

~ I don't play OP a lot, but I assume it's the equivalent to a diamond in 1.8. Diamonds are pretty hard to kill, especially since the best weapon is an iron sword. It takes time, and they can chug god apples. Yet it's possible to kill them, if not faster than OP. But I don't think the store should be disable in OP 1.9. Sure they can chug away, but that's hundreds of points down the drain. Not to mention the unlikeliness of them regaining all of that back just from FFA alone. Use alchemist or something.

~ Team fighting in every FFA mode is pretty wild. Especially some teams that consist of 8 players and when they don't fight without one another.

There is no counter to the Tank kit, except the Tank kit. The Ninja kit is also redundant.
there actually is a counter i use it all the time and im one of the only ones who uses it
Buy prot 3 and sharp 3 gear
use the samurai kit to get the speed effect
and boom your a speedy tank who will kill whatever is in his path and the only way to get killed is through the alchemist is the easiest way to kill this speedy tank

Yes, when you start buying stuff from the store it is very easy to kill even teams of other players. The best armor and golden apples make you basically invincible and
if you mostly play other games like I do you'll have enough points. But to me that feels very cheap, you'll never get the good feeling of having won an even fight.

If you have to spend hundreds of points to make it easier to kill a Tank, maybe it's worth making the Tank easier to kill to begin with. Every kit should be able to counteract one another; you shouldn't need to spend hundreds of points just because 30/40 players are using one overpowered kit.

Yes but that hardly counts as a kit. So OP 1.9 kits are insanely imbalance. At least give the weaker classes some better weapons :/
