Do you think they will change the Diamond Armor to Netherite?

I don't think they will, because Netherite is from (Java) 1.16, and CubeCraft can only use up to (Java) 1.12. I don't know what version that corresponds to on Bedrock, but the team will likely want to keep the items they introduce consistent for both networks.

Lyri is right. Also, having netherite armor would make it nearly impossible to take knockback to the players who are wearing it.

CubeCraft bedrock also uses 1.12 sooo...
