It's finally time to announce the return of Parkour. After months of hard work we're extremely happy to bring you a new and improved Parkour section to our network. It now includes competitive mode, level unlocking and best lap times!
Normal Parkour
It's here! Finally here! We've released Normal Parkour with 3 modes, Easy, Medium and Hard. If you're amazing at Parkour you can enjoy our Hard mode but if you're terrible at Parkour you can enjoy our Easy mode. Our Parkour is user friendly to players which are good or bad at Parkour and players who want to play with friends. Normal Parkour doesn't just have maps, they have levels within them. There's over 57 different levels for you to try! You also have the ability to change maps and levels whilst ingame.
Joining Normal Parkour.
Whilst playing Normal Parkour you will be able to see everyone else within that server. But good news, if you don't want to see anyone or just your friends, Parkour has a player visibility setting on the hotbar for you to easily change. There's also the ability to make players semi-transparent, so if you want to see friends and party members but you don't want them blocking your view, you can make them semi-transparent.
Using the player visibility and transparency feature.
Normal Parkour doesn't have checkpoints, so be careful not to over-jump, trip or walk off. As Normal Parkour has levels, you need to complete the previous level before unlocking the next. Finishing a level will show a message in the chat and gives you the option to the next level if there is one, open up the map selection menu or to leave the game. If you finish a level and beat your previous lap time, you'll receive a message in the chat telling you you're in best time and your previous one.
With the re-implementation of Normal parkour and multiple difficulty modes, we wanted to make Parkour more friendly for parties and friends. We're happy to introduce Competitive Parkour! This mode of Parkour is a 1v1 race to the end. Competitive mode maps are generally a lot bigger than Normal Parkour maps, but the only difference is that there's checkpoints.
Joining Competitive Parkour.
The core purpose of Competitive Parkour is to create the challenge to beat and race other players and friends. Competitive Parkour is the only Parkour mode which has a leaderboard, so if you want to be on top and the best, better get training!

Parties
Since the introduction of our Party system, we've been adding it into all of our games. Now with the release of Parkour we've implemented full party support into it. You can play with other friends in parties playing Normal Parkour or Competitive.
If you're in a Party and want to play Normal Parkour, all of your party members will join with you. You can then use the player visibility setting to show friends and party members only. The party owner will receive the win message as soon as all party members have finished the level, a nice leaderboard for all party members will appear in the chat also.
Competitive mode is only for 1v1, so if you're party is over 2 members, you will not be able to play a map. But if you're in a party of 2 and click a competitive level, you'll automatically skip the queue and be put into a game.
Lobby
With the release of Parkour we've also updated our Parkour lobby. If you join the Parkour lobby you'll be presented with a world of different biomes. There's 8 different types of biomes built with creativity, colours and parkour. If you love lobby parkours you'll love this new lobby, each biome section has it's own parkour!
Can Team CubeCraft maybe add a option to play competitive without another player.
So you can work on your experience or just add the competitive maps to
Normal, Medium or Hard.
Glad that the ones that are still playing finally got what was promised literal years ago.
Im not judging on the update which must be awesome! Might even bring me back once to check it out.
Lets just not forget that no one up there at HQ is listening to what players want.
just kept on doing whatever they wanted to, stuff no one ever asked for and 50% of the time didn't even work out.
bad copies of other games, wouldn't be surprised if we see a FortnitePUBG copy coming out soon either.
There is just no priority list, and if there is might wanna change the priorities to what the community wants, or already even wanted as most of the current players probably don't even know what skyblock is.
Instead of focussing on constantly trying to get more and more new players, which is getting harder and harder due to other games rising in popularity, maybe try to keep the ones you already have...
New predictions based on the news we got this week:
- New Snowman Survival maps are most likely releasing sometime next week
- OG EggWars update is releasing in a couple of weeks according to Cam through Discord (screenshot below).
A couple of weeks is usually 2 weeks but sometimes can be 3 weeks.
