Here is my suggestion for parkour if Cube decides to add it back:

Enter a lobby similar to PvP. You will have 4 game modes. Duels, Solo, Horde, and FFA.

Duels:

You are on two separate courses. You wait in glass cages. If you are a ranked player, you vote for time of day, and whether or not you can see you opponent. Lapiz req. for time of day, and Gold req. for Visibility mode.
In visible mode, it is just barriers between you and them. In invisible mode, it is a brick wall. This would make the game more competitive as you can never see if you are winning or not.
Something like this:

Time of day- - Daytime -- Evening - - Night -
Mode- Visible(Represented by a glass block) ◊◊ Invisible (Represented by a Brick block)

Solo:

This would be levels of difficulty. You would have levels 1-30, and you would have to beat a certain time in order to receive the reward for completion. Once completing, you cannot earn that reward again until you have completed all other levels, then you restart. After a restart(completion of all 30 levels), you can still go through and earn points, but you will only earn 25% of the initial reward per level. This is to prevent point grinding and exploiting the game. Of course, there will be a leaderboard showing the fastest times, and you will be able to see your own fastest times in-game.

Horde:

In this mode you will have 8 players. It would have three game modes. Easy, Medium, and Hard. Again, you would wait in glass cages, and be dropped when the game begun. You can vote for time of day, gold rank required. You would all start out on your own track, but after a bit your track would merge with one other player's track. This would make it increasingly difficult as you progress. **Once you fall off your track, you are out** The lanes continue to do this until there is only one lane(so they would merge 3 times if there were 8 players. i.e. 8>4>2>1) The last player still running stands, and there is an added bonus if they make it to the end point. In the result that two(or more) players make it to the endpoint, the first one there gets the win, as well as the endpoint bonus. Any players after that would get a reduced endpoint bonus, as well as the corresponding point/exp reward for what place they came in. (i.e. second, third)
Voting options would look like this:

Time of day- - Daytime - - Evening - - Night -
Mode- - Easy - - Medium - - Hard -

FFA:

Just like the ol' classic parkour. Jumping around on suspended tiles, trying to get diamond blocks. You could vote for time of day, and whether or not you wanted powerups.

Time of day- - Daytime - - Evening - - Night -
Mode- Powerups ◊◊ No Powerups

It sounds very fun! Especially having different gamemodes.
There should be kits, for example:
Enderman: Enderman suit (Just to make it fancy) and enderpearl every 5min or so.
Snowman: Snowman suit and some snowballs that could also be obtained after some time, with the purpose to make opponents fall off.
Bomber: Red suit with tnt hat, throwable tnt every 5min.
Using kits would be an option to vote for, and it would imply that the players have more than one life. (Only available in Duels, Horde and FFA)

I thought about this, but I hate the idea. First of all, you would have to slow or stop in order to throw it. Second, it is a parkour minigame. You don't need projectiles. Thanks for the suggestion though!

YES! PARKOUR MINIGAME! BRING IT BACK!
But I don't think adding a voting system for powerups is that good of an idea, since it's nice to need jump boost or speed boost to get a diamond block.
Also, when sombody is a bit closer to the diamond block, and there is a speed boost next to you, you can maybe still get the diamond block.

For the rest of the ideas: I love them :D Keep up the good suggestions!

Dude, I love the idea!

Suggestion:
Add “traps” where the player in the lead could activate a trap, such as: a 2 second speed boost, a 2 second slowness effect, and a 2 second jump boost.

This is true. We would need to balance it.
